DId MB every made a W203 (2001-2004) C320 4matic with Sports Pkg???
My friend kept saying his cousin has a C320 4matic SS!

Yes, I believe for MY2003 MB offered a C320 4Matic with the "sports package," including the seven spoke rims on the "old" 230K.
I'd love a sports package to be offered with the new C2804Matic or the C3504Matic for those of us who love the look of the sports sedan but need AWD capability.
Those cars were very rare, and, to date, I have seen exactly 2 of them.

I doubt that...C320/240 4mats are Luxury Sedans...maybe he optioned the 17" 7spoke Style B rims...and added the oem exhaust tips!?

jmartinacevedo is correct on that call. It was available with larger wheels and performance tires. Keep in mind that the sports package that year was different from the ones you are used to nowaday. I believe there even was a thread on here discussing the reason why the combo was dropped by MB; performance tires and AWD got some folks in the NE states confused during bad weather.

yes it was available...it wasn't available as a C230WZ though. It was only offered as a C320WZ4 in 2003. As pointed out though, all-wheel drive w/ sport tires doesn't really work all that well.

Interesting. It's no wonder I didn't know that. It was only available for the 320, which was out of my price range when I was researching my car...LOL.

MBs with AWD + Sports Package
Like Amdeutsch said, MB dropped the combo apparently because of the sports tires not getting along well with the AWD.
I don't understand why MB did not simply offer performance all seasons instead of the summer tire package. I think it would be awesome to have a the looks of the C230 with the AWD, particularly since nowadays most competitors offer that combo (G35x, the 325/330xi, the Jaguar X-type and, heck, Volvo S60R).

I don't think you'll have a "problem" per se, just because you paired AWD with sports tires.
It may not be an exact comparison, but before I went with Mercedes, I owned a BMW 325xi and had it fitted with the tires and rims from the (non-awd) 3 series sports package (17 inch rims with contisports), and the car still handled like it was on rails, even in snow. Nice little car.
Soon I'll be trading back to AWD (C2804Matic) and plan on replacing the stock wheels and tires with those of a C230 sports sedan. I'm sure I'll be fine.

Finally, my C320 4MATIC will be here in 2 hours
I bought my car on the 5th and it will finally be here in 2 hours, delivered via an enclosed carrier to my door. I have my 19" TSW Bremma's w/ Nitto 555s sitting in the garage waiting to go (thanks EuroteckMotorsports!) and will have them on tonight. It's brilliant silver w/ black interior, sunroof package, and 6-disc changer. $42,760 MSRP and picked it up for $35,146.
I'll post some pics tomorrow once I have the wheels on!
