I've gone through two sets of thier incandescent bulbs and they only lasted roughly over 8 months for me.
The LED still works but it flickers and I do not want to do the resistor mod. Will see if Hoen will get back to me or not.
I might give ebay a try, considering I paid over $60 CAD for the Hoens...

EBAY is 30 USD plus crazy shipping fee

They said they had a few problems with the bulbs with a bad solder. However, in my case because they worked for a while before quitting then it must be another issue.
Will be sending the bad boys back tmr for inspection.

I just sent back my failed HOEN bulbs to them and still waiting for my new incandescent bulbs from them
I tried to add some money and get the new LED bulbs from them, but the guy told me they don't offer 'trade in' at the moment, so I just thought I would just use my replacement bulbs for a while until their LEDs are perfect!
Anyways, keep us updated on your new LEDs!

Thanks.
Wheels are still for sale but I've decided to do local only.
Hoen dled replacements finally came in. Hope the new batch will be better than the last.

The airbag sensor is basically like the buttons on your TV remote and only needs a little pressure to be activated. Everything is trial and error right now but I'm confident I'll find a way to fit the airbag sensor into the Sparco. I thought about the resistor from Recaro but if I can get the seat working like factory then why not? It's all a guessing game at this moment and all I can do is wait until everything comes so I can start testing. If the "passanger airbag off" light remains on even when I have a passanger then I may have to contact Recaro for their resistor. Another concern I have is whether the Sparco brackets will fit my 03 Coupe. IIRC CoupeCrazy went through TWO brackets from Recaro because the first set they sent him was for an 02. I'm not exactly sure why MB designed two different seat brackets for the same seat in the same car or if aftermarket sidemount brackets will be different than bottommount brackets?
Now we play the waiting game...![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

yeah, but coupecrazy hasn't changed the passenger side, and there are different issues regarding the airbag for that.
i think infected is going to do both, so he is the only person i know who is looking into this.

I got screwed over by the business who sold me the seats so I got my money back. The passenger side is do-able but you will need to pick up the seat sensor from MB and retro-fit it with your aftermarket seat. I tried it in my Coupe and it works just fine. Keep an eye on the airbag light and you will know.
Another option is to pick up a sensor from Recaro but your passenger airbag will go off regardless if you do ever get into an accident.
The problem I ran into was with the seat bracket because sedan and coupe have different points. I stressed to have brackets made for a coupe countless times but in the end they still offered me sedan brackets.
I found a local guy who is amazing at welding so I may have him make a set of brackets for me this coming Spring.
If you are picking up one piece seats then you shouldn't have a problem with the bracket as it partially uses the stock bracket.

HOEN dLED license plate lights are dead again. Second batch and these only lasted 2 weeks. I'm waiting for their reply to see how they want to handle this. It seems like the board is getting too hot and burning itself. Anyone else have the same luck I am having with HOEN?

just add some 5w 100ohm resistors instead of keep changing your bulbs. an easy diy.

I wanted to save the resistor mod as a last resort.
They claim the bulbs are direct plug and play on their website so I don't see why I should have to do any extra modding in order for the bulbs to last.
I think I will just switch back to their incandescents for now...

Just curious.....
Why would anyone want their license plate to be MORE visible?
Not that I would run from the cops, but I don't want to assist them in ID'ing me
beyond whats required. Well, in fact, aside from Aesthetics, that's another reason I don't have a front license plate installed in the hopes that stop light camera's etc. can't see me.
But lately I been being a good boy, using the cruise control.
CA CHP is on the rampage, to bring in revenue since other avenues are out.
I'm fighting 2 tickets already...well, don't want to hijack the thread.
Thanks! Still love your car man.

Are you going to try Racing Dash LEDs? Or EBAY ones?

I don't think Racing Dash has bulbs for W203 sedan and coupe yet.
The ebay seller from the license plate thread only ships to the states.
I am just going to go back to the hoen incandescents for now until they work out the problems with their led bulbs.
