Clear bumper lamps for your W203

We've been doing out annual spring cleaning, and found about 10 sets of clear W203 bumper lamps. Basically giving these away for free for anyone who wants a pair of CADesigns Ghost superblue or Ghost amber bulbs.

It's not like a package thing like "add both to your cart" and one will discount to $0.00. The bulbs normally go for about $25-30 by themselves, so it's LIKE you get the clear corners for free.

Sadly, your Paypal is not accepting money - and your charging about $20 for shipping

really? I have since changed the shipping sorry about the mishap. As for which ghost bulb, there is a memo section after you order please make sure to mention which bulb fitment and color you would like, amber or superblue.

thanks for the order.

Do they fit a 2005 W203 (C55)? Your website indicates 01-04 only.

Yes they do, we've had these since 04 and thats why we had the label set for 01 through 04 but they will fit all the way up to 06.

Sorry guys I had someone point out a mistake in my wording here, I hope this post will clear things up.

Basically you will get a free set of any CADesigns ghost bulb with the purchase of this lense.

Can anyone with a set of these please take a pic with them lit up during the day? Seen too many sets of W203 clear markers where the bulb only lights up like half of the reflector (ie poor reflector design), even at night.

Also James, can you please post a closeup of one reflector? Thanks

C55
I ordered these and they do NOT fit my C55. I think they may fit a non-AMG C-class and maybe a C32 AMG, but NOT a C55 AMG.

James, I still have not received your fax for return instructions. I called your office and got a message that you moved. Please tell me how to return these.

You have a w209 nose not a w203 nose...Different - Look at the chrome...Goes up over the w209 light. Stops hard in front of the w203 light...

Good luck!

Thanks for your reply. I knew the nose was different, but wasn't sure about the side marker lenses. Thats why I asked in posts #7-#8.
I didn't exactly understand what you were saying about the chrome, so I found a C230 and snapped a few pics with my cell phone.

C230 front side marker

C55 front side marker

At first glance, the lenses look very similar, but they are slightly different. I received the clear lenses from Creative, and tried to fit them, but no workie.

So does all this mean that W209 lenses will fit a C55? Anybody know a good source for clear W209 lenses?

Quality isn't bad in terms of looks, though man are they loose! Anyone else have this problem, and if so, how did you solve it?

Euro strips will sove the problem!

Sorry... I heard about someone heating them up and bending something to make it a tighter fit, but can't remember exactly. But yea... Euro Strips FTW!

European strips are the best...I can not wait to finish my resistors and paint my strips from metallic green to black and then install them!

What you could do to tighten up the feel is this...I did this to my trunk liner lights I installed...Take some tubing and cut it the length of the end of the light...then slice it open to make a "C" shape (Think pipe wrap insulation) then put the tubing over the one end of the light...then snap it in…the tubing should tighten up the lamp but still give a good feel.

YOU DO NOT SEE THIS TUBING...put it where the inner light housing snaps into the hole in the strip...not on the exterior part...that would just be wrong!

Use a rubber aquarium type tube...

C55
James@Creative are you still out there?

Weeks ago you sent me an email saying I could return this since the nose on C55 is different than other W203's. You were going to send me RMA instructions, but I never got them. Calls to you number say you moved and I'm getting no more replies to my emails...
