What’s up fellas,

Finally received the edited pics from a buddy of mine. This car is a work in progress, I plan to go "***** to the wall" with this car, and it should hopefully be complete by the end of next year. For those who remember my X5; I still have it, well, my older brother does. It is still modded, and will continue to be modded (KWv3 coilovers coming soon ), but on my brother's dime.

I bought the car last July as I wanted a car for my daily beater instead of the X5. The X barely got 14mpg with the wheels and all, and I knew gas prices would soon soar. I went out hoping to purchase a 335i, but the APR rates were in the high 8’s and the MSRP was near 50k. So I went down the street to check out the new C-class. It looked pretty awesome, very aggressive and classy at the same time, but there was a 3 month wait and all the cars on the lot were already spoken for. Then as I was walking out of the Benz dealership, I noticed four or five 2007 C230’s on the lot. I immediately noticed the 07’s looked slightly different than the older C230’s. Some of the changes included dual tip AMG muffler, different wheels (concave 6 spokers), and the C55 rear spoiler. They had a low APR rate (2.9%) and they gave me their ding and curb rash warranty for free. I believe I got the car for 33k out the door with taxes and everything.

Some info on the car..

2007 Mercedes-Benz C230 (V6 not the 4cyl kompressor)
-Arctic White with Ash interior

Mods:
- 6000k HID lowbeams
- 6000k HID fogs
- Hoen xenon-look license plate bulbs
- Tein Basic coilovers
- (20x8"F, 20x9.5"R) DPE GT7 in brushed aluminum with stepped lip and rivetless.
- Nitto Neogen tires (225/30/20F, 245/30/20R)
- Temporary system..(2) JL Audio 12W6v2's powered by a JL Audio 1000/1 amp

Special thanks to Kirill Mogulskiy for the pics, and AL@SonicMS for the wheels and coilovers. Al has bent over backwards for me, and I'll be a customer for life.

Thanks for looking,
-Amar

And onto the pics..

Looks really good! Have you ever though about painting the diffuser type area on the bumper where the exhaust is? It would look good in a matte black. Vinyl works too.

I just noticed something. How come the pics show the regular style clear lights and the sig shows the car with bix?

Thanks bro! I'm actually planning on wrapping the rear diffuser in CF sometime this summer. It should look pretty good once I get my CF lip in as well.

Thanks bro, and yep the sig was photoshopped using plusONErandy's car. There was no beef between us, I asked to use his pic and he graciously agreed.

The wheels are custom, I'd say they're more similar to HRE's than BBS. I was able to choose the finish, the lip style, the lip size, the widths, and DPE took care of the rest. They had to make clearance for the coilovers and the brake calipers too, so it was a tough job.

i knew he didn't get mad about the picture- i just remember he, as well as a few others, poking a little good 'ol fashioned w203 fun. the spoke design does look hre'ish. i was talking about the lip- seems someone with a white w203 had some sort of mesh bbs wheels with a stepped lip design. i liked it on that car- and even more on yours. it's the best of both worlds

Haha, yeah, I believe the car you're referring to is Ling's, the C55 with BBS LM's. I love his car, and almost got the LM's myself.

Haha, yep! E46 is my home forum, for some reason I keep drifting back there and staying put.

Haha, thanks for the kind words bro! I've got a lot in store, and am hoping everything goes smoothly.

Haha, no worries. There's also the flat hood badge, the CF Euroteck lip, and a few others I'm sure I'm missing.
