$2600 carlsson 19inch 2/6 and dunlop 9000?

I was quotes and can get carlsson 2/6 19inch staggered setting with dunlp sp 9000 for $2600 out the door. What do you guys think. This is for my c-240. What finishes do the rims come in? Does anybody know the difference between the brilliant silver and diamond edition or are they the same. I essentially want a finish that is shiny but now chrome. Plain silver is just too dull.

Does anyone know the problem of 19" 235 tires rubbing the front panel behind the bumper has been solved yet? I think you should check with the poster before making your decision!

Is this price better than Tirerack's? If yes, go for it, if not, better check with Tirerack as their price is really low.

Brilliant Edition has a chrome lip + painted silver in the centre. Diamond Edition has a diamond cut finish. Looks like the Brabus Monoblock 4. Pretty shiny. But Carlsson 2/5 doesnt come with Diamond Edition.

After you have your 19" wheels on, the next thing you will do is to lower your car because the gap is just too big and ugly. Then your problem will start arising!!

If I were just to choose between the two, Diamond Ed. But if I were to choose between 1-pc and 2-pc, I'll choose 2-pc. So, you have a dilemma here, 1-pc is 1/6 Diamond, 2-pc is 2/5 Brilliant!

I believed Ben mentioned Carlsson will have their entire lineup with different finishes next year. Maybe you should wait for a couple of months? But then, the new wheels will not cost $2600!

Where do you live? If you don't get rain all of the time, I'd recommend Bridgstone Pole Positions instead of the SP 9000s, assuming these aren't going to see winters (and with 19" rims, I'd hope not).

I like the diamond edition finish better, but you can't get it on the 2/6es.

Just checked at the Tirerack - their price with the SP 9000s is $2490 with shipping to Sopranosland. So, I don't think that you're getting a very good price, to tell you the truth. And they don't show that the Pole Positions are available in that size, which is surprising.

19" on a 240 are going to slow you down - not nagging, but thought that I'd add that into the discussion. Good luck, whatever you do.

Yeah, the S-03 does NOT come with 235/265.

yeah

I know tirerack is cheaper. about $100 dollars, but I can finance here. it is american tire company. Yeah the lowering is a little scary, but I don't know what too do. And I know carlsson is going to go way up next year. Right now is a good time to buy

Because Tirerack is no longer the distributor of Carlsson. They are dumping all their stocks at a very low price. After their stocks are gone, Carlsson will have wheels with new finishes and a new distributor, prices will be back to where they should be.

Nope, I havn't solve the problem yet because I have final exams these days and don't have time to go to the shop. My finals finish by this week and I will go to the shop and try to fix the problem. I'll post the result later.
