will 19" wheels look too big for a 01 sedan?

I dont want it looking like those ghetto 25" wheels on an impala.

Have you lowered your 01? The 01's were nowhere near as low as the 2005+'s. It sounds like you've gotten your hands on the 2005+ sport springs and in that case, I say go for it. 19's don't look too large at all.

Its a stock 2001 C320 Sport. I dont think it has the 05+ sport springs. I bought it this past Monday at a Lexus dealer (I was initially going for an IS) w/ 47048 miles on it

someone actually think jordan made a good point

1. that is totally false.
2. 19" with proper size tires 235/35/19 265/30/19 has a overall bigger diameter which will make the car "higher". The gap between tire and fender will seem bigger because the sidewall is thinner.

trying to find that picture of the 01-03 sport with wheels for you. I know I've seen it recently.

On the pre-2005 cars, they all look like that with larger wheels. Definitely needs a drop, ESPECIALLY in the front.

uh...no, gap stays pretty much the same. you don't make the gap smaller by putting on 19's.

Hey, I have a brand new set of Lorinser style 19" for sale. I bought them for $820 at velocity but I'm moving to Caribbean for med school so I cant put them on my car anymore. I can let it go for $400 if you want them. Here's a picture of how they will look on a C class. email me at monsterinc714@yahoo.com

but when i have my C320 sedan and C230 coupe bone stock, they have the same exact wheel gap, but i think C230 shock are softer due to lighter engine, so it make some differences when you change rims
