You got me John. All I know is the guys at Status put 3mm spacers on the front wheels. I have no issues with bolt engagement due to new bolts from the new wheels. However I do get slight vibration at 70mph and beyond; it's very minimal, but it lets you know its there. Didn't get vibrations before the Teins were put on, so I doubt it's from the wheels . Hopefully those who read this can help you more than me.

Thanks for the pic. Maybe I'll use it for my signature

Thanks Greg and BadAssC230K, just the answers I was looking for. I don't think I'll be dropping my car anytime soon, so that shouldn't be an issue. As far as getting them from 7/1, would you mind me asking how much it cost for all 4 and what finish you got on them? The cheapest I seem to be able to find in chrome is about $1350 shipped (yes I know chrome rims seem to be sacraligious around here, but I think they'll look better as my car is silver and I don't like color matched rims). Oh, and the actual Mercedes center caps look much better than the Mandrus "M" ones IMO. Thanks again guys, good stuff.

Reason being, I’m running 8½ X 17, 34ET (OE AMG rears) up front to help alleviate understeer. Even with the stock 225/45/17s, there is less than 1/16 strut clearance. Some of the track guys (Fifth Ring, AWDman) on the C32/55 forum are using the same spacer-less wheel with a 245/40. That’s not going to work for me unless I can source a proper spacer. Any advice would be most appreciated.

Credit to gregr09 for this pic-
John,

try a 5mm H&R spacer. that will make it ET29.
you'll need 5mm longer bolts too. do you have coilovers?

BTW, love your Supersprint!

Didn’t know of any members who have used them successfully. Until now that is. Thanks Robert. Coilovers are on the list, funds permitting. At this rate, looks like new tires will be first. Rather get the 245 fronts and 255 rears while at the tire store, if they can be spaced to fit without rubbing.

Anticipating the VMR V715 group buy is going to happen. That set will be for meets, track events and weekend cruises. The stockers will then be relegated to daily driving, with curb feelers for the Mrs.

Wish that Supersprint was mine...that is gregr09’s tight ride!

245 fronts will be pretty hard with coilovers. I'd say do 235 fronts and 255 rears.

Yeah, I was afraid of that. The 19 inch VMR’s will be wrapped with 235/35 and 265/30.

Back on topic, jan ken po, your car looks sharp! Very cool.

For pete's sake people, it's an expression.

Like saying: "I'm gonna kill that ******* in the BMW that cut me off."

You're not really going to kill him, just feel sorry for him and his poor judgement when buying a car.

What do you guys think of these wheels?

Hey guys, well im new to the whole Mercedes world, so I have been trying to figure it all out so forgive me for my nubness.. lol...

so I had my first experiance with a crappy ebay grill... dont order the carbon badgeless grill off of ebay and expect it to fit a 2003 c320, even though it specifically says it will fit. Plus the carbon, even though i knew it wasnt going to be real carbon, was the worst spray on carbon print i have ever seen!!!

anyway for the real topic here i am thinking of getting these rims and wanted to know what you guys think! plus make sure my fitment is correct. here is the rim

Ssw Raze (gloss Black)
Size: 18x8
PCD: 5x112
ET: 38
Weight: 25.5lbs.

a little heavy but then again im looking more for looks then performance.. so for the back though i thought i would throw on some 10 mm spacers to push them out a little. shouldnt have any problems with this right?

Probably more suitable for a larger sedan. Not bad though.
