TSW Holsten Wheels on a Sedan??

I'm currently shopping for wheels on a budget. A buddy of mine has direct contact with TSW and can apparently get these wheels at a VERY GOOD price. Couple of buddies of mine in the wheel industry say these wheels look like hubcaps when seen alone, as such on this pic. BUT definitly look nice and gives a benz a Euro look when mounted. I've done some searching and can't find these wheels on a W203 sedan.

I have a few wheels in mind. But at this point i'm still undecided on the style I really want. Since I drive a C280 and Don't have the sporty look on the bumpers, and side skirts. I'm having a though time deciding on the style. I really like the BBS LM look but don't think they'll look right with my car. Too sporty IMO

What are your thoughts?

I tried adding a poll but I guess I missed the opportunity. Anyone know how I can add a voting Poll?

i love a wheel like that on a w202/older benz. they look good on audi's also- kind of a VIP look. not so sure on a w203 or newer car though. post this in the photoshop thread- maybe someone can do it for you.

I know what you mean.. I can definitly see this type of wheel on a Lexus or Infiniti. But on a W203? I was kind of doubting both my buddies suggestion, who are both in the wheel industry. Thought I'd get the public's thoughts on this one..

I'd post on the P-chop thread but I can't find a pic of the wheel directly from the front.

I wouldn’t put that on anything... sorry, just my opinion. I think you are better off saving up for a nicer wheel. Im saving right now for the Mannheim - should have them by next month!

yeah, that's why i'm kind of hesitant, regardless of the price. Thought I'd ask for all you guy's opinions.

I always love the comment "EURO look". Its applied to so much, even when it doesn't appear in any part of Europe. Maybe "Ricer" would be just as appropriate.

Found a pic of a S-Class on 20" but Chrome. I would "NEVER" put full chrome on my car. I'll go as far as chrome lip.

Any additional thoughts?

LMAO... I agree, just like those "EURO Taillights" I used to sell at the shop back in 2000. Pretty much were the Alteeza or Lexus IS tail lights for other Japanese cars. These Taiwanese makers went over board with those tail lights. They're now even avail on 1978 Ford Bronco.

But in this case it's actually EUROPEAN. So I went with using the term "EURO"

i had a slightly different opinion and put them on my car... i love how they look, almost like an OEM wheel and not too flashy. they are a solid face, which really suits the older body styles, like mine.

i don't think these rims would look good on a W203 or any of the 'newer' benzes, they suit the older slab-sided cars much better.

here are a couple of pics of them on my car.

Dude, YES!!! Definitly looks nice on your car. Specially with that two tone color. Not a big fan of the head lights tho.

oic.. Retrofitted TSX proj? must have been alot of work looks good. Maybe I should restate myself. More like the dark tint of the Headlights i'm not a fan of. I thnk clear or chrome would be awesome since your car is white. JMO

personally i prefer them un-tinted too, but i got the smoked lenses to hide the projectors when the lights are off, because otherwise the car looks like it's bug-eyed, which i dislike more than smoked lenses.

okay, sorry to hijack your thread, i will leave now, just wanted to give you some extra pics to think about your decision!

ZedStyle, when you have a minute. Would you mind taking a direct front pic of your wheels in a decent resolution? All pics online are in an angle. I'll then post on the P-Chop Thread and hopefully someone can p-chop them into my car. I'm just curious what it'll look like.

Wow! That looks good! Even w/o the sport kit. Sux tho.. they're outta my budget. I was hoping those ebay ones made by Miro would fit! hahaha.
