Just an update, I talked to Darwin (really cool guy btw) and they actually do have those wheels in stock. All of you chrome haters will be happy to know that I went with the diamond finish instead, and since they "special order" them (as he told me) the offsets are perfect for my car. No spacers. Maybe I'll start my own thread to keep track of my mods now that I'm finally getting the big part out of the way. Thanks again for the help Blake.

Like the wheels, congrats! Not sure if they quite go with the car, personally i'd like a little chrome somewhere on the rest of the car to offset the BIG chrome lip on the rims but hey each to their own and i'm still on stocks for now so it beats mine hands down lol

Definitely. I'm going outside right now to was my car down just so I can get some stock photos of it so I can compare as I mod it up more, as well as get all the paint chips and other cosmetic damage fixed.

Question Need opinion on these Wheels

I found these 18x8 CLS replica wheels from discount tire direct. Unfortunately they don't make 19's, but I just moved to New Jersey about 4 miles out of Manhattan, and I don't think 19's would last long on the roads here anyways. They are $140 a piece, and do not require a centering hub, as they are made exclusively for MB's. What do you guys think?

I acutally thought about getting these for my C-class, I love the styling of these wheels personally . . . I would just worry about the quality but other than that, they look awesome!

Actually, for a cheap replica wheel, these are supposed to be good quality. I've known a manager of a Discount Tire store in Columbus, Ohio for several years, and he always gives me honest advice. There are several wheels that I was thinking about, and he told me certain ones to stay away from due to quality issues. He said that these were manufactured for Discount Tire by a decent wheel company.

They look swell. Why are the real wheels a more substantial investment?

I’m all for saving a buck or two when it doesn’t compromise safety or drivability.
However, your rolling stock is far too important to be crash test victim from their failure at speed.

It’s best you refuse to purchase that off-Broadway junk.

Real CLS wheels will not fit on a C-Class. Otherwise I would have looked to purchase some take-offs from a CLS.

Plus, they're a pretty standard 5 spoke design so pretty boring looking IMO. I notice the guys who got them stock on their CLS' waste no time replacing them with something more unique and I suggest you take the hint.

Replica are not bad, they are cheap and you wont feel so upset when you hit a curb or when your dog **** on it. When yo bored sell it and buy new style. Go for it dude.

i've seen a similar replica on ebay, 19" too. It's all painted though, not like the one you want. I think they're hot. I've always like the cls55 wheels. I gotta dump my wheels first then get those.

They look great, but looks can be deceiving. Quality is equally if not more important.

Copies tend to be poor quality alloy and bend easily, buyer beware! Apart from that they look awesome
