Hi, I'm getting a great deal on a set of OZ Superleggeras 18x8. But the offset is 45mm. Just wanted to know if these will fit in the front with a 5mm spacer? People on this forum have fit 8.5" wide et35 wheels in the front. The 8 wide with et45 will be 3.71mm deeper into the wheel well than 8.5" et35. So a 5mm spacer should do the trick? If pushed out by 5mm, the 18x8s have no danger of rubbing the fender. Just need to confirm my calculations. From what I have read on this thread, I shouldn't have any problems in the rear, am I right?

8 inch wide with et45 will be way further in the wheel well than 3.71mm.. Remember, the lower the offset, the closer the wheel will be to the edge of the wheelwell.
So, the superleggeras will actually be 16.35mm more tucked in.

Will staggered c sedan 17" OEM 2004.5 wheels fit coupe 2004?
I have 17" sport wheels oem on my coupe. I'm really only interested in getting staggered rims, and found some oem c class 2004.5 sedan 17" rims (the rounded five spoke) that look like the right thing. Are there any spacers or considerations I need for my early 2004 coupe?

Thanks, I just drove home on them. They were a perfect fit... and I like the less "sporty" sedan look of them and the staggered part.
Anyone know if there is a slight gas mileage loss on the slightly fatter rear tires and wheels? Guess there is. Sorry to the guys on this thread that my choice was so conservative for new rims. I really needed new tires and just figured get some used 17" staggered c class rims for a slight upgrade with better tires!

best handling is more about balance, so running non-staggered setup will ultimately be better in overall handling. having wider rear however helps with traction. you give some you gain some.

Looking at coil overs or air bag suspension in the next couple of weeks.
Have you seen the w203 with lambo sytle doors yet? I thinking about as well.

Will these rims fit?
I bought 7.5j X 16 rims from the 202 series expecting they would fit my 2004 203 C320 with 7.0j X 16 rims. However, my studs are longer and not as thick as the older rims require. Are there studs available that will make these fit? Or, does anyone want a good deal on these rims?

I think, though I could be wrong, that the fatter wheels on back will hold me down better on those curves. Will let you know as I take it around. It does handle differently, I have noticed that much.
Do you guys think spacers would be any good on the coupe with these staggered 2004.5 oem sedan rims? I wonder if I should try it.
