W203/CL203 Aftermarket Wheel Thread - All you want to know

2002 Mercedes-Benz C320, Black on Tan
C320 and C240 wheels the same?
I bought some Stern ST-8 Hypermesh wheels advertised on eBay to fit C240, and I assumed they would work for a C320 also. However, they would not clear the hub on the front by just the finest margin. I already bought the Eagle F1s to go on 'em and didn't want to hassle with returning them, so I had them machined to the tune of $160. They work great now and look great, but I want to know if I can get reimbursement from the seller for the machining. He advertised they would fit the C240, but shouldn't that work for the C320 also?

Rim Suggestions anyone?
Ive been following forums for a while now. This is my first post so i am a newbie
.
I am wondering what style rim would look good on a w203 2001 C320. It's silver and does not have sport package.
bad pic but only one i have at the time...
The color is alittle off because of the sun setting.. but you get the idea.
Anyway, I was thinking maybe a black spoke rim with a chrome lip... but i feel everyone has these. But what else really looks good and clean on silver car ?

You say you've been following the forums for a while, yet you didn't realize this post should have been in the wheel thread? Also, you didn't mention your budget, what size wheels you want, etc. I vote to address the suspension first, then worry about wheels. Plus, it's winter so save your pennies and get something nice.

buy your self some springs and while you're at it- look up my for sale thread in the classifieds. my wheels would fit the bill for you since you don't have the sport package. i've got some pictures of them mounted on a silver w203 also.

Anyway.. I was merely asking for what style would look good on a silver C-class basically..thats all.
And looking for 18's and on the cheaper side. I wont put them on till spring anyway.
Right now, new wheels is more of a priority to me than suspension.. but trust me i know it needs to be dealt with.
i guess you guys are trying to help me out, but it definitely come off as you being condescending. letting you know.

This is totally off topic but is there an oem part number thread on this site for the cl203? Specifically for the updated tails and clear headlights.

BRABUS Mononblock VI Wheels
I am selling my 19" Brabus Monoblock VI wheels. The centers are powder coated black and the lips are high polished. The fronts are 19x8.5 and the rears are 19x9.5. They have Toyo T1S tires that only have 5k miles on them. The wheels are in mint condition. They will fit all C, E CLK, SLK classes. If anyone is interested let me know.
