white and whiter
you can run 265 on 8.5 and you can run 255 on 8.
staggered tire on non-staggered wheel is fine. some wheel doesn't come in staggered fitment.
tirerack only give answers that protect them from any fault. instead of talking to them go to one of your local shop that has been doing MB or BMW or AUDI.

Thanks for the responses. I guess I was hoping for a little more, but I'm glad that a couple guys agreed that it will work just fine, as I suspected.
I'm not quite sure how to respond to the comments about the way it would look though. a 235 series tire is .75" wider than a 8.5" rim. a 265 series tire is 1.93" wider. that's a difference of 1.18"/2 = .59" per side of the rim. I'm not sure that you would see a side wall difference of .59" more width w.r.t the shape of the sidewall, etc. I only want the wider tire in the back because it gives the car more width. Simply adding a spacer to the rear would put the tire at the corner, but it would fill the wheel-well and you'd notice it from the back of the car. MB put a 245 on there...I can't do all this work and spend this money and go smaller. If you've ever been behind an older Plymouth Breeze, Dodge Stratus or Neon, you'd know what I'm talking about....they love to put skinny tires out to the corners.
Anyway, thanks again for all the help. i'll be sure to post pics once i decide what I want and install everything.

W203 Sport Edition offset questions???
Hi guys, i am new in this forum and i come from Australia. i am sorry if this topic has been covered before.i have W203 sport edition and i wanna buy iforged imola for my car.
I will lowered my car as well.also i am using dis car for daily driving. and i want my car still doing ok when in the full load situation.
My car is the sport edition. So i got AMG body kit as well and the standard brake at the front is bigger than the normal C-class.for the rear brake i think is the same. I wanna go with 19 inch and the widht 8.5" front and 9.5" rear.
So,i just wondering what the best offset for the front and the rear if i wanna go with iforged imola?and what size of tyres i should use?
Please help me!

there is an aftermarket wheel thread with all those answers- search there.
in short- depends on the wheel. anything from an et28 to et35 front and et32-et40 for the rear. most common are et32F and et35R- however, it's not certain those will fit- depends on wheel design.

Just curious - It was a black C230 appeared to be lowered on iForged with a bronze lip or it could of been gold but dirty. LOL iForged License Plate plate and frame as well.
nice runs as I was on my way to work.

not a fan of chrome- but the painted silver version might be ok. i think a 20 looks a tad big on these cars. then again- it's your car ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
be sure to search for on here for the best offset and tire size. you will most likely still get some rubbing- but a few guys have done it w/o too many options.

though problem is the brand is from italy and they closed.
thats one problem and tires size is littlebit funny.
225/30/20 that's olny size they have it.
they are saying that the rim was 3G but dealing really cheap.
few hundres without tires.
and coror is silver. not chrome fan.
