Anyone have any pics of a pewter C Class with a bright satin finished wheels? I looked threw the whole thread and I couldn't find any pics with a setup like that.

not a huge fan of your mesh styles- but i really like your 5 spoke styles on your site. i mainly like them because they are much different than the 5 sets of wheels that i constantly see on this board.

Im looking to get these but I couldnt find anyone with that color on a pewter C. There was one person with a S Class that had these wheels but it was silver. Anyways heres a picture of the wheel...http://www.tirerack.com/upgrade_gara...2FMachined+Lip

Blake I'm talking about the ASA Sport Edition ST4 Wheels that are on tire rack that have a bright satin finish with machined lip. When I use the "View these wheels on your car" button they look really good with the pewter color on the car. But I'm just not sure how accurate that color is on the wheels they have when you view it on the car because it is a really small picture. So i just wanted to see how it would look on a pewter car from members pictures because I really like those wheels. Most likely going to get them in Mid March.

spec check for the wheel fit wizards....
I think i've done my homework, but we'll see...
here's the specs for the rims i'm looking at:
F 19" x 8.5" et31 (w/1.5" lip)
R 19" x 9.5" et31 (w/3.0" lip)
hub centric 66.6 bore
manufacture is telling me they clear the big b's up front w/o spacers...but my questions are these:
1) is there a risk they will actually stick out too far...i.e. past the fenders
2) with a 235/265 tire set-up, lowered on Tein's, what are the chances the rears will rub w/o having the fenders rolled? I'll prob go with generals exclaim's or kumho spt's.
TIA for any help

2) I'm gonna guess that there's a REALLY good chance you'll rub on the Kumho's because the sidewall is very square. I'd go with 255 in the rear and a tire with a rounder sidewall like Toyo T1R or a tire that's cut slightly thinner like Falken FK452.

1) There is absolutely no way they will stick out past the fenders. You can go all the way down to about ET25, but I think 28-32 is perfect.

Regarding (1)...sweet...thanks. Now about (2)...i checked a few specs on tread width and here's what i found. T1R = 10.5, FK452 = 9.3, Kumho SPT = 10.7 and G Exclaim's = 10.4. To be honest, the Generals are priced the best of the bunch and with a width just a tad smaller than the T1R's, you think i'll be good to go? Tire choices for 255/30-19 are pretty slim unless i want to spend north of $250, which I don't. In fact, I hate to even spend this much on rims....this is a daily, not a garage queen
