I just threw some 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 on my C230 SS with 35 offset all around.

I was wondering if I'd be able to throw a 5mm spacer up front and a 10mm in the rear without rubbing? 5mm does look like it might just work up front, but the 10mm in the rear worries me. I think a 7mm would likely do the job, but I can't find any that are hubcentric to the hub and wheel.

Would i need to do a fender pull in the rear? Also, people who have their fenders pulled, how does it look, considering there are plastic trim pieces/bumper cover relatively close to the fender?

5mm spacers will be fine up front, 10mm in rear you'll probably have to roll the fender so it wont rub. H&R have hubcentric spacers for our cars. Be sure to get REAR spacers if you're going to get 10mm spacers in the rear, youll need the lip on the spacer so the wheel can have something to mount on to. All cars have fender liner and pieces on the fender. All rolling the fender does is flatten this inside fender lip, if you put your finger on the fender you'll see that it curves or rounds off, rolling that flattens the piece so it wont rub the wheel. Pulling it will give a more aggressive look if you pull it alot but pulling the fender a little bit, you wont notice a difference from the standard look. All pulling and rolling is done on the inside so you wont see a lot looking at it from the outside.

Quick question guys. I'm in a dilemma right now. There were tires on it when it went in and since I can't use them I told them not to mount/balance it(cost $50 per wheel) or throw it away because it have about 80%+ thread left.

The thing is.. now i have to pick up the 4 wheels and the 4 tires. I don't want to wait for my brother to be available for his truck (which is thursday). I'm impatient and wanted to pick them up tomorrow with my w203. The question is .. can I just put the tires around the wheels like if i were mounting them by hand? (not actually mounting them) or would I need a machine to do that?

I'm just trying to save space so i can fit them all

They're HRE 563 with Stepped Lip in Clear Brushed.

They're 18x9 et 37 all around. I couldn't choose the offsets because it came from a messed up set of HRE 540.

you should be fine, 2 or 3 tires in the trunk, 1 or 2 upfront and 4 boxes in the back seat.. youre good. install and post up pics asap!

i dont think you'll be able to FIT 4 HRE boxes in the back.. for the year i worked @ Pioneer Porsche every time we ordered HRE wheels the boxes were pretty big. you will be able to filt the rims without the boxes tho

Hell yeah I couldn't haha! The boxes are huge but they're so nicely packed/fitted. Yeah if it didn't have the boxes I could of fit them, but hey who wouldn't want them neatly packed in boxes? Make you feel like it's christmas

Now I need to make another trip back to pick up the tires so I can sell them! or trade them for tires that I can use.

I'll try to get them installed ASAP. Roland do you know a tire place that mount without messing up the lip? 714 tires or HMS? Do you know if HMS sells lug bolts too? So I won't have to order online.

i've fit 4 tires and 4 boxes(19" rims) in my 203 before. no problem there. you do need the fold down seat however.

Damage is going to vary based on a number of things, obviously some are going to be stonger than others simply because of materials used or design.

i don't think you will need spacers for the 18" authentic Brabus. i could be wrong tho. If you do need spacers you can get the Brabus spacers that bolts to the wheel in 5mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, and up.

Pretty sure you'r right, Frank, at least from what I remember. It's been so long, researching Brabus rims is such a blur...LOL. That was 7 years ago that I researched on Brabus rims.

I have a question on finding the correct bolt I need. So basically I need to take my stock bolt and put it in the stock wheel and measure how far the bolt stick out? I do the same with the aftermarket wheel and measure how far the stock bolt stick out. I then subtract the difference from both bolts.

So let's say the bolt in the stock wheel sticks out 5mm more than the aftermarket wheeks. I would then need 45mm bolts right? But since I'm using 10mm spacers I would need 55mm shank and if i use 15mm spacer I would need 60mm shank?. These are for the fronts.

Would I have to take off the rears too and measure the difference? Or does the rear stock wheel bolts stick out the same as the front stock wheel bolt?

yes, pretty much. if it sticks out more you subtract it and then if you run spacers you add the thickness of the spacers.

front and rear should accept the same bolt length.

So despite the stock wheels front and rears different offsets, how much the stock bolt sticks out it's the same length? That makes it less work for me :P because I only took out the fronts to measure haha.

ok I am currently running this set up:

TSW Bremma's: I believe these are the correct offsets, I just got them online.

Front- 19x8.5 et 32 with a 10mm hubcentric spacer. Tires are 225/35 19 which rub barely on the inside on my coilover (KW), and barely on the outside of the fender when I hit a small dip. My KW coilovers are maxed out as low as they will go.

Rear- 19x9.5 et 35 with 265/30 19 tires and no rubbing issues whatsoever.


Question: Will these wheels fit? and if so any recommended tire sizes?

Front- 18x8.5 et 35 (not sure if I will need the spacer or not)
Rear- 18x9.5 et 35 (I do not see an issue as to why this wouldnt work perfectly)

The wheels are not hubcentric from what I have read, but I am not sure if that is a big deal. I have yet to see them on a w203 either. They are the Konig Milligram's. Here is a pic I got from D2 Autosport's ad...
