I have 18x8 on my 4matic with an offset of 32mm. No need of a spacer and no rubbing issues.

ET30-35

I listed this in the other thread. mainly just light weight 18" wheels available.

Forged wheels:
BBS RE 20.3-21.5lbs for 18x8 ET35 and 18x9 ET38 (i run 5mm front and 10mm rear BBS spacers make'em ET30 and ET28, but they are not needed to clear calipers)
BBS LM 23.5-23.9lbs for 18x8.5 ET30 and 18x9.5 ET32
BBS RS-GT 20.8-21lbs for 18x8 ET35 and 18x9.5 ET32.
BBS RG-R 20-21lbs 18x8 ET35 18x9 ET38. (12mm spacer from BBS is needed to clear the caliper.) look at BlakeP's car for example.
OZ Superleggera 3. 18x8 ET36 18x8.5 ET32. these should be around 21-22lbs.
RENNtech Monolite. 18". forgot the width or offset, but they should weight around only 18lbs.
SSR Comp-H 18lbs 18x8. most likely discontinued.
SSR GT3 18x8.5 18x9.5...not sure if you can even find these anymore either.
HRE competition series

cast light weight wheels:
OZ ultraleggera 18.5lbs for the 18x8 ET35
OZ superturismo 24.7lbs for 18x8 ET35
OZ Crono 20lbs for 18x8 ET35
BBS CH 24.5lbs for 18x8.5 ET35 (need 5mm spacer to clear coilover)
BBS RX 24.3lbs for 18x8 ET32 (probably needs a 5mm or 10mm to clear the caliper. This is basically the cast version of the RG-R)
BBS RA approx. 22lbs each. 18x8.5 18x9.5 ET32. They are discontinued, but you can find them used usually on Audi forums. All you need is make the center bore bigger if the RA doesn't run BBS's hubring/spacer design.

other options I know less about which can be custom ordered in 18" spec you want if the shop has contact with Volks/Rays and Work:
Volks Racing TE37
Volks Racing CE28
Work Wheel VS-XX

hope this list will help some of you determining what you want for light weight wheels. There are more of them in 18" fitment such as the mentioned Enkei's etc. feel free to add them if you are sure about them.

Brake Clearance

HI, i did search on the forum before i start this post.
On the other posts, none has mention about how much space do i need between the rim/spoke and the brake.
Or as long as the rim does not hit the brake and run through, then i am okay?
Because i only have 1.5mm between the brake and the rim.

you're fine. I've seen rims clear by so little that it dosen't look like a business card could fit in between.

so i've read through this thread at least once. just need to confirm that these will fit my c32 with amg calipers and pretty decent drop with tein SS coilovers. I've read that the coils on the teins and narrower than the KW V2s.

The offsets match up with +32 in the front and +35 in the rear. No lip to really account for so I am pretty sure they physically fit I'm more concerned with the tires rubbing after lowering the car. I used the tire calculator and it's within the 2% diameter difference.

I guess what I'm really asking is can I drop it enough with this setup to have a nice stance with minimal gap without rubbing. How does a 35 and 30 profile tire hold up against potholes.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

You should be ok with a decent drop if you get tires with rounded sidewalls like Toyo T1R, but won't be able to SLAM it unless you get something with under ET30mm offset. A 5mm hubcentric spacer should do the trick if you're not happy with the drop.
