I have a question about the light weight wheels...

Being them light weight, do they have enough strength to support some considerable potholes!?
What I wanna know is, if I'll go with some of these wheels, won't they have the tendency to transform in a square wheel!?

I'm asking this because I'm running on replicas, but the quality is a little bit better than some years ago, but not as OEM! (I have all 4 wheels needing to be straighten up)

Depends on how they make the rims, really. Rule of thumb in most cases - Forged >>>>> Cast

Of course, the best thing is to avoid potholes no matter what.

Ok, Ive read though most of the posts but did not find the exact info that i was looking for.. I have a W203 C240 non sport package and was thinking if i could fit a 19X8.5 in the front with a 40 offset and a 19X10 rears with 45 offset.. Wheels are made by carlsson model 1/6 evo. Also, can I use 245/35 front and 275/30 rears? planning to use Tein springs. If it would not fit.. any suggestions on how I can make it fit? Thanks for you help! meantime, ill read through other posts..

I thought that somewhere in this thread, someone stated- a couple times, that something between et28-35 for the fronts and et32-35 (maybe a tad more) on the rears. With that being said- you can most likely use those wheels, but you will need some spacers and longer lugs.

I think I would cut that tire size down a little also. 225 or 235 fronts and 255 or 265 on the rears.

They all say they've searched, but most are too lazy to read the whole thread.

ur okay. you can go 265 in the back and still be okay. also take into consideration the sidewall height of the tires. that plays a major role.

Might rub if the suspension is too soft, no? Your car is SS?

Go with 245s/255s and not sure if ET32 will clear BBKs (if you have them)

Im getting tired of not being able tu turn the steering wheel all the way to make u-turns. Front tire tuch the front part of the black plastic under the fender. is there any solutions other than getting smaller wheels or raising hight? coz I luv the way it looks now.

H&R coils, 225 40 18X8.5 and 255 35 18X9.5.

Any suggestions with that plastic
Or I just have to live with it?

Your setup seems about right..Just leave it and those wheel covers will wear out eventually from the rubbing

I had the same issues and readjusted those wheel covers, it's been fine since that..Try to readjust them!
