last month, i was looking for new wheels too, black was a must...
in the end i had two choices, the millienium shown above, and AMG twin spokes replica...
u can find the millenium nearly on all websites, it would b starting 1200 for the 18" shipped and mounted.... with a decent set of tires for around 1500....
the amg replicas are on ebay for 500-800$... but beware of the quality and finish.... for those most users will recommand u TSW Bremmas, but they dont come in black so ull have to paint them urself (check advans c320 thread), if u want those in black, u can find them at discounttiredirect.com named AMG twin, approx 150$/wheel, thats 1061$ shipped with falken ze912 tires, around 1150 with Nitto NT555 performance tires....

Aggressive wheel setups

well my friend on E46 made a thread on cars with aggressive wheel setups and got my interest in it. I was wondering if anyone had a crazy setup on their car ie. offest etc.. thanks

they have a wider selection of black rims; ie: black amg reps or brabus mono reps and tire packages as well.

Do not use Lakeshore Wheel and Tire in Michigan, they are crooks, I have not recieved $1,505 dollar refund from them. I have been waiting since 9/15/08. I ordered some Carlsonn reps, cancelled 3 days later, they had neither shipped or mounted, told me to fill out a form and fax back, which I did, told to wait up to 30 days............ nothing. I have been calling them till about last month, now dealing with BBB of western Michigan and credit card dispute.

I want to pull the trigger on these but I'm a little apprehensive about the BBK on my '06 C230.

I spoke to a rep from their website and he said they'd clear the brakes no problem.

Any ideas? Any experience with these?

18 x 8 ET 30 sounds good. Certainly fine with standard brakes. If you have any doubts PM FrankW - He knows more about wheels & offsets than anyone I know.

DCR Forged Wheels :: Anybody know the center cap size?

I have a set of 19" DCR Forged wheels on a W203.

Does anybody know what size the center caps are for those wheels? Will 75mm center caps fit on those wheels?

Thanks!

Lakeshore's bad reputation has got all the way to South Africa!!! They suck big time. People like Tire Rack send us wheels with zero hassle. Even if there is a problem it's handled professionally

What wheels for my White C-class?

Hi guys.

I am a former E55 owner, and I figured you guys could help me out.

My GF has a white C-class, and I need help finding a perfect set of wheels for the car. Any ideas? I figured I would just buy her the wheels, and let her buy the tires.

I don't want to spend much more then 500-700?

Thanks

A little over your budget at about $900-$1200 per set new depends on where you get them from but they look pretty nice and the quality is pretty good.

eBay repplicas are about your price range and some look nice too. Quality is I had a set of mono VI rep and it's all good till one of my rear wheel broke into pieces when I had an accident

I had MMR GT1's on my E39 M5. Good quality wheels! That might be an idea.

I LOVE those wheels, but I don't think they make them in the right offset for a W203. At least for a C230 (with AMG brakes). Otherwise, I would strongly consider buying a set for my car.

Since this is for your wife's car, and since, in MY experience, women tend to be drawn to slightly less "aggressive" multi-spoke wheels, then why not the TSW Sakata 5?

Brabus replicas. They look great on C Classes(IMHO), but these are the wrong bolt pattern. Make sure you get the right bolt pattern and offset.

See this thread for all you need to know:

Mandrus (by TSW) makes those wheels with the right offset for w203... they are around 200$ each...
and it depends if u want a clean look, or black wheels...
chek the classified threads, sum1 is selling his eurotek wheels, looks like the MMRGT1..
500-700 for 17 or 18's ? its pretty tight for 18"s unless u buy em off ebay...
