You will definitely need spacers. At least a 10mm in the front I'm guessing to clear the calipers and a 10-15mm in the rear. And that's just to bring it close to stock specs.

wheel offset in a nutshell
depending on the wheel design and mounting surface you'll need between a 10 or 15mm spacer. be sure its a hubcentric spacer thats 66.6. h&r makes good spacers that most members use or ichiban is another brand. search the classifieds because members are usually selling spacers.

Hey guys need some help, i wanna run 18x9 square setup, wheel specs are 18x9 et35, I'm dropped on tein coilovers, rolled fenders. What do I need to do to make this work, if anything at all. Thanks

Hey guys! Just picked up my first mercedes. A 2007 c280, the next day I Was able to pick up a set of kmc rock stars for $400 with brand new tires off Craigslist. The problem is the sizing, 225/40r18 18x8 +42. With a 72.6 center bore. Just wanted to check with you guys. I was thinking 15 or 20mm spacers all around to get flush and avoid rolling fenders. What do you guys think?
Lastly, Ill be safe running spacers of different mm's if need be right? It won't mess with my 4matic diff because I'm not screwing with the rotational rates correct?

The rims have a 72.6 center bore. So I will also need 66.6/ 72.6 hubcentric rims as well correct?
Also, can't I just go to autozone and have them pull my lugs that are simply 15mm longer to use with ebay spacers?
At the very most I will be swapping a set of lowering springs on my car. Just want a flush, safe look. Would I be better with 15 or 20mm spacers?

you can still use 20mm spacers because 18x8 isnt that wide and you'll still have good clearance without fender rolling.
you'll need a hubcentric adapter ring to get it to fit our hub yes.
you can go to autozone and get longer lugs but you'll have to pull your lugs and measure the shaft length. also make sure the lugs that are for the wheels are ball seat or acorn (tapered). also the bolt thread pitch for our hubs are 12x1.5. if you get too long of a bolt it'll mess up the braking system. so make sure the bolts that are on it originally arent too long.

the fronts have plenty of room for a lower offset then the rear does. the fronts dont really need rolling until you get to +20 but thats usually on 8.5 wheels so you'll have extra space for the 8" width and in the rears most run 9.5" so you have plenty in back. you can probably run 25mm spacers in back if you want but if you want a flush look from the front to the rear you can do 15mm in front and 20mm in back or 20mm in front and 25mm in rear.

Well I had planned to lower on springs but apparently I can't locate a single pair of 07 c280 4matic lowering springs. Any help with that?
Edit: I guessing lowering the 4matic is terrible for the driveline. Ill be staying at stock height. So I should just run 20mm all around then and ill be completely fine with that guys?

stuka bomber............one thing that I can't emphasise enough, the length of the rear lugs has to be prefect or else you will joing the millions of others who ended up messing up their ebrake mechanism that sits within the disks and the incorrectly mesured lug lengths have completely destroyed the ebrake assembly..........
