So as for diameter and width I shouldn't have rubbing on either 19x8.5 all around or 19x8.5F/9.5R ? That is, with stock suspension and fenders. Not even hard turning or cornering?

C180 kompressor (w203)
Hey guys,
I have a 05 c180k and im in the middle of fitting my new wheels here are the specs

Front :
19x8.5 +35
235 35 19
( at full lock I get some rubbing )

Rear :
19x9.5 +38 ( 5mm slip on ) +33
275 30 19
( rears rub the outside mud gaurd time to time I suspect I cant put anyone in the back lol )

the car is not lowered but I plan on putting some 45mm lowering springs front and back and I also plan on using 10mm spaces on the back bringing the offset down to +28, I noticed most guys recommending 255 30s for the rear but I wasnt sure if a 245 35 would also be an option, im trying to avoid pulling the rear gaurds but I dont mind grinding those tabs down and cutting out some mud gaurd if needed,

thanks for any tips in advance!

Hello guys. i have MB W203 C180 Kompressor with sport package and now i have ordered rims that are 18"x8.5" fronts and 9.5 rears, et40 in both.

http://www.jh-sound.fi/japan-racing-...achined-silver

What you think how big spacers i need on front and rear? Do the bigger brake calibers make some situation in this?
What tyres you recomend?

Thank you for your answers allready

Guys I need your advice.
I'm thinking to buy a set of 19" aftermarket wheels for my w203 C55. Them are 8.5J ET32 front and 9.5J ET40 rear. Tyres are Falken's 235/35 and 265/30. I'm running low right now on Bilstein B14 coilovers.
Will I have clearance issue between strut and the wheel with ET32? Don't want to run spacers in the front. I know KW owners have clearance issue in the front, but don't know if there is the same problem with Bilstein's.
I have 7mm spacers. If I put them in the rear, do you think it will rub with 9,5J ET33? Keep in mind that where I live roads are very bad

If you going to run 235s front, itll sure rub , i once had an 8.5 ET 32 front wheel with bilstein pss9 coilovers plus 225s tires and it never rubbed (no spacers were needed), for the rear wheels i have no idea as ive never ran that offset , highest for me was ET 35.

So do you think I'll need 2-5mm spacers for the front?
Tyres are Falken's 453, those are a bit wide than 452's, less stretchy look.

hello all,

i recently got my w203 and for the last two or three days ive been lurking on this thread and i got some pretty good ideas as to what setup i need, i just need reassurance its right.
i will be running 225/40/18 18x8 all around, the wheels are 35 offset with 5.88 backspacing, ive already reached out to the manufacturer and they told me they might not fit as is on the front bbks, so i will need at least 5mm spacers up front, i would like to go 10mm front and 12 rear since i already bought the 57mm stud conversion kit that phister recommended, but i would prefer not to do any fender work, thoughts?

Guys, what spacer you recommend me to run without any rubbing issues with full load or 3 passengers? ET33 will be safe or ET35 is the max I can go without any trouble?
Rear wheels are R19 9.5J with 265/30 tires.

Hi all,
Been trying to figure this out, to no avail.

Will stock 18" AMG wheels from a 2015 E class fit my C55?

Spacers ?

Thanks

Alright so I'm very new to rim and tire fitment to a vehicle. But I have a 2007 c280 4matic and I'd like to get a set of 18x8.5 or 9 ( bot sure if the width matters). I'm also ordering some vogtland springs just to lower her a bit. I would like to know what et i need and what size spacers if any. Thanks for your help!!

Ordering new lips for my 3 pieces and the 4.5" are on two week back order, so I'm thinking about grabbing the 5" lips and making the rears 19x10.5. Will this be a problem for my c32? I have the rear adjustable camber to make them fit but just wanted to ask you guys' opinion first.

Be prepared to pull fender and camber. I had 18x10 +4 and had to pull the fenders to the max I could. If my calculations are right if you do 19x10.5 with a 5" lip your offset will be -24

Went with 4" lips to make them 19x9.5 because the shop said the new offset will be +19 so that'll sit pretty flush to the fender right now and half an inch more wouldn't make that much of a difference lip wise. It would lower the offset too much and it'd be too aggressive they said.

The wheels im interested in;

Front - 18"x9" ET30 with 225 / 40 rubber

Back - 18"x10" ET25 with 255 / 35 rubber

Iv'e used just about every "Wheel offset calculator" the internet has to offer, and they all give me different answers.

Whats your thought ?

You are under tyreing & stretching the tyres onto wider rims which is poor practice.

The backs will rub on the outside at ET25. You need an offset in the 35/37 range. Running 225 on the front should clear the strut as long as the wheel itself does not touch. 235 at ET30 on front clears. 245 on ET30 does not. I have test fitted.

Hello, does anyone have any experience with front camber bolts or the k-mac camber kit?

i have installed my new wheels with rear camber arms but needing something for the front so i can adjust at least 2-3 negative degrees. Will the bolts be enough for that much adjustment or should i go with the k-mac kit?

HI,

I'm considering buying these rims, and I know the offsets are totally wrong, but if I run 15mm spaces front and rear, will they work?

19x8.5 offset 19 (measured)
19x10 offset 17 (measured)

TIA!!

The bolts will only allow minimal .3 of one degree (1/8 of an inch – 3mm) which is not enough in your case , i recommend the k-mac kit for your case.

Hello guys, I am thinking of adding some spacers for my W203 SC with SE 17'' wheels. Would be fine 10mm on front and 15mm on rear? Would I have any problems with vibrations? I am thinking of lowering it with H&R springs.
On the other hand, has anyone painted those rims in any colour?

I have run 15mm HR Hubcentric Spacers front and rear on my OEM wheels with no vibrations or problems
