Has anyone tried 18 x 9.5 all around on a 2006 c280 4matic? If so what offset and tire are you running?

2005 C240 Wagon
I would like to buy a set of Alzor Style 020. They are 18x8 5x112 et35 center bore 66.6.

Will they fit my 05 c240 wagon, currently stock ride height. They dont show the mercedes as fitment for that wheel.

Looking at ESR SR04

Anyone know if these will clear?

Front 18x8.5 +30
Rear 18*9.5 +35
30% restocking fee if they don't, so I would really like an idea before making the payment.

Can anyone help me with spacer size? (2005 C240)
I have new wheels waiting to be put on:
225/40/18 Front and 245/40/18 Rear.
18x8 Front and 18x9 Rear

My current setup is the stock 205/55/16
Im on stock suspension and was wondering what size spacer i would need.

So stepping up to 225 and 245 wheels need some help clearing.
Anyone with a similar setup? I was thinking 12mm spacers all around.

Depends on the wheel offset not the tire size. If you have the correct offset, you may not even need spacers.

From experience I had 18x8.5 wheels all around with 245/35/18 offset was +35 and I cleared the front caliber by a hairline. The bbs lm reps had a 2-2.5 inch lip. No spacers needed and no rub

My wheels offset currently are +38,
the new ones are +39 on Front and +30 on the Rear.
Does this mean the fronts may just need new bolts? And spacers only for the rear? I'm not very knowledgeable about offsets.

Going back to my 18" Mandrus Millenniums offsets +32 F +35 R, going to be upgrading my rear calipers to 4pots so I know I'll have to upgrade the rotors to the same as the front. I'll have to run these spacers in the rear now right?

Might be picking these up soon. They are 18x8.5 squared with ET44. I'm going to have new lips ordered to make them 18x9 18x10, someone told me the offsets will change. By how much?

Hi all,

Just bought an 07 C230 amg sport and it needs tires. I was going to ditch the stock 17" wheels and go with 18x8.5 et25 all around. I am going to go with 235/40 up front and 255/40 in the rear. This will all be on stock suspension. Will this setup on stock suspension fit without spacers?

Hi guys,

I need some help figuring out what I need in order to install OEM W204 18in. 5 spoke AMG wheels off a 2012 C300 on a W203 2005 C240 4Matic Sedan.

Wheels/Rims: 225/40R18 / 255/35R18 7.5Jx18 ET47 / 8.5Jx18 ET54 5x112 M14 x 1.5 66.6

C240: 205/55R16 6.5Jx16 ET32 5x112 M12x1.5 66.6?

Tire shop said I need some spacers up front to clear the calipers. Didn't try on the rear.

Thanks.

W203 C230K Coupe
Need advice please

Hi all

I am from South Africa. I currently have a c230 Coupe. I have FK coilovers but the front clearance is minimal therefore I am running 5mm spaces to clear the coilovers.
Current wheel is 17inch 8j, ET35. Tyres are 225 45 17.
I am looking at getting a 18inch 8j, ET35 with 215 40 18 Tyres on it. I will still run the 5mm spaces in front to clear the coilover.
Will the 215 tyre be fine?

Yes, they will, but you need center rings to make hub to 66.6

Before - Stock 16’s

After - AMG Type III 17’s
Hello all. I have a 2006 C350 that I bought August 2016. I have been looking to replace the stock 16” wheels it came with since then. All the while looking at what you guys have done to yours for ideas and inspiration and it has helped out. I finally saw some wheels that I liked at a good price and go them. This past weekend I put them on my W203 and love the way it looks. They some 7.5x17 ET37 in the front and 8.5x17 ET30 in the rear AMG Type III wheels. This the first mod I have done to my vehicle and possibly with a few more to come. Thanks again everyone

What size tires are you running with the new setup?

C230 Kompressor SS 2005
Time to revive an old thread

I have a 2005 C230 Sport and got my hand on some 18" sweet sweet wheels.
Wheel specs are 18X8 ET30 in front and 18X9 ET35 in rear. The thing is with these wheels that the hub depth on the wheels is only 2.8 cm, which is shallower than the actual stupidly large hub center on the front hubs (4.5cm cause of the axle/wheel bearing thing)
So i was thinking of running 20mm spacers in the front and back,
these in the front https://spurverbreiterung.de/de/prod...tml&no_boost=1
and these at the back https://spurverbreiterung.de/de/prod...-racetech.html to keep the staggered look.

The front spacers i linked only have 2.3cm long hub centers protruding so they will fit nicely in the wheels

The question is will i get major fender rubbing with 225's /40 in front and 255's /35 in the back, cause i am extending wheels 0.7" out with the spacers ? Will i need to roll fenders a bit you think?

Thank you for all who reply

Help needed

So i found this old thread when i was wondering how much would my setup poke out from front
Im planning to put 8.5x18 225/40 with a 12mm spacer i think without the spacer it would rub on the strut and with the spacer im worried that it would poke out too much
The car seems to be on some kind of lowering springs but i dont know what

You might be able to fit that without a spacer. On my C230k, I test-fitted the rear wheels on the front of my car. Per this wheel spec website, the C230k's rear wheel specs are 17x8.5 +34, and the wheel was very close to making contact with the strut, but did not touch. There was probably about 5mm of space available, so your offset of +35 should be fine too.

If you are very concerned, then you could use a spacer, although I am in agreement that a 12mm spacer is too excessive. A 3mm or 5mm spacer ought to do the trick, but you'll also want some longer lug bolts too.
