you were the first person to pay the deposit out of everyone. I should've gone with whoever paid deposit first in that order and for this I apologies. BUT do not worry, yours and 3 other's set will arrive soon.
once again I apologies for not getting everyone's wheel at the same time.

You just stay in your area and I will stay in mine. At least we will be a bit different from everyone else who has chrome. I just want something different that everyone else. It seems everyone out in cali has the black rim, but everyone in NYC like chrome.Originally Posted by razorfish228

i dont know what you're talkin about. everyone in cali is more chrome than black. its more of a 1/5 ratio of black to chrome. they can be seen, but not as much as chrome.Originally Posted by ernster

Chrome is more Ghetto in my opinion which exists alot in New York area. I thought in California, folks are more into the Polished finish and Black. Of course I watch TV and see it and don't know in reality what you guys in California use more.
Well, anyway its up to each individuals taste but its sorta a fashion statement on cars.

well, its not like all californians are into black with the polished lip. like you said, its more individual preference. i dont like chrome either. too flashy for me. i just love the ones we're getting though. so excited! Originally Posted by razorfish228

i am ready to place my orders on my tires. i just wanted to make sure that 235/35/19 and 255/30/19 were correct and that will produce no rub on my 2001 c240. if these are wrong can i get an opinion on what i should get that will have minimal rub.
another thing is that the size tires i have up there are somewhat hyard to find and when i find it i have very few choices of brands. is that how it is for the 19's
thank you everyone for your help

i just recieved my rims!!
they were exactly as i expected except for one thing. it probably wasnt the factory's fault but there was a scratch on one of the rims. very little. barely noticeable. most people wouldnt even notice.
now my question is the tires. i know i have a choice between 255 and 265 in the back. but is the 255 an odd size because it is somewhat harder to find.
what are you guys putting on the car?
thanks

Whenever I get mine I might be looking at getting the 265 which will protect the rim and look nice. But I than thought about 255 because I might perhaps lower the car and than I will get into trouble with the wheel well. Fender rolling is nice unless you can get someone to do it perfect without cracking the paint and or making the fold perfect. A friend of mine has a Porsche 911 and had his fenders rolled but the paint cracked and risks rust from it if he does paint over it and such. I don't have a clear answer to which size yet as you can see.Originally Posted by krew944
