nlpamg, the tires are good. Where I got spin before I get bog now, which is a good thing. Part of it is undeniably due to the added weight of the wheels. The stick is very good, too though. I find that I give it a bit more gas to get to that stick/slip point from a launch. Noise is as expected, better than my well-worn 18s but not as quiet as new 18s. Wider patch contributes here. The rears are definitely steamrollers.

i can't wait ... the car doesnt even look that high how i expected it to be. i know ill know in some days, but from your pictures the 235 seems to give protection to the lip. can you make maybe 1 picture of how much it is?
nice pictures btw.

Very Very Nice! The gap doesn't look bad at all! I think you don't need to lower it unless you really want the wheel behind the fender look.
I just got my bolts in the mail and hope they fit correctly. These are the ones Frank recommended. I have to buy the center caps like yours now.
The tires look great too and the 265 actually don't look like they will rub the rear. Hmmmm.. maybe I should go 265.

Sweet!
Man, that looks awesome - especially on a black car. The polished lip really stands out.
Looks like this group buy was a success. Frank - any thoughts on another one for AMG rims but in gunmetal this time? SL65 relica rims would be nice.

New wheels on the way
Ok I just bought some wheels
235/35/19 19-8.5 35mm (may run a 5mm spacer if I have too) 265/30/19 19-9.5 35mm
Stern face II touring sport
I will post some pics as soon as I get them on!
What does everyone think? (yeah I know I like chrome better than silver)

Still trying to figure out why spacers are not good for the car?...Never really heard that before. I know that, if possible, one should go without spacers, but I've never heard that they are "bad" for the car.

if the front wheel has lip like that in the picture with 35mm you will definitely need to run spacers more than 5mm.
Spacers doesn't hurt the car as long as they are hubcentric to the wheel.
