tried to put pics on but the size is messed up. I have to figuar out how to do it. They look great. I only as of now have night pics. I will take some during the day tomorrow and show you guys. Rims just touched my calipers had to shave them a little to make them fit. I don't know why. Did you have this problem jpog. it was a process to get them on. The guy at the shop was great. He did what ever it took to get them to sit correctly.

WHAT! Shaving Calipers Now!
How do you shave the brake calipers to make them fit? This must be the rear right? In that case we need to use spacers. Let us know.

Not the calipers but the inside of the rims. My tire guy shaved about 1 quater of an inch off were it was rubbing on my caliper. Took about an hour to complete but the are on and can not notice anything from looking at the rim. Only work was done on the inside. Did not want spacers at all. I hope no one else has this problem.

Wow...something strange here if jpog didn't have to use spacers and you did. I know the C55 set up is a bit different, but the AMG wheels from stock have a 30 offset, while the non-AMG's have 35, so I'd expect him to have more of a problem than you.

I don't know why. It just rubbed on the caliper a tiny bit. Like I said, I had to shave each bar down about a quater of an inch to make it not rub. DID NOT WANT SPACERS ON MY CAR. It worked out fine. No damage to the rim. only the front inside has a little shaven part

Eric, the car looks great :

It is really weird that the C55 had no problem fitting the rims as it has the big caliper and yours does. Maybe this has something to do with the wider track MB said they did with the 05-06. I'm taking that people buying TSW Bremma now has to think twice.

wider track? never heard of that. could you please explain it a little more? so even when the 05's have 35mm offset and you have a wheel complying with that it still might not really fit?

I hope i dont have to go farther than 5mm i will if i have too i just do not want the wheel past the fender. What do you think the max mm spacer i can run in the front and keep the rim under the fender?

I had the Axis Phin which had the offset of et35 and I ran a 10mm spacer which is probably the max mm spacer you can run on our car if the wheel's already a et35. The front wheel however will sticks outside the fender and occationally it would cause the tire to hit the fender when suspension is travelling.

search for Axis Phin with my username in advance search there should be couple pictures of how it looked on my car.

let me know there's anything more that I can help.

Very nice! The wheels look good on a white MB. Now I'm worried I have to find someone that knows what to do to start shaving my wheels.

Did you use the same bolts as the ones Frank recommended?

Yeah, i can't believe we are getting hit by a Blizzard in NY tonight into tomorrow with about 12inches of snow. Hope you have another car. I got my Jeep to use in the snow MB stay's in the warm garage

1. the bolts are not the same ones as frank used. I ordered those but had to cut all them. Used a machine to shave them down

2.I have another car, I lease a 2006 galant so I don't have to drive my benz during the winter

3. Frank can you elaberate on the wider track thing. I just want to know a little more about this. I feel sometimes that my car is different than everyone elses. It is crazy.

Razor If your car is like mine and you need this done just contact me and I know the guy that can help you.
