gap in rear bumper...

gap in rear bumper...
hey guys, just want to know how big of a 'gap' there is between the body (fender?) and the rear bumper in your c230 (ss)? i can't really remember if there's any (if so what's the 'standard').
just got the rear bumper repainted (and repaired? i dunno, trying to find out) after i was rear ended (slight). went to this mb body shop and told them if they can check and fix re-alignment. all was paid by insurance.
i need to make sure that this were caused by the accident and not just something that's 'standard'

Should be even on both sides man... I got a rear ender and I was super picky with them about making sure everything was 100% restored back to normal, right down to the alignment of the "kompressor" tag on the back. I don't know about your insurance or body shop's policies, but with with mine if you're not happy with the results, they have to redo it.

between friends etc. we have all kinds of different gaps on our w203s 5-6 cars. as long as gaps are the same on both side it will look fine.
