C32
I recently bought a C32 with 60k. The idle was shaky, to say the least

I used seafoam (even though techron is supposedly better for your car) but only HALF the recommended amount. I had a half tank, added half the seafoam can (8oz), and filled up with 91 chevron. So for 16 gallons, I used 8oz. Too much might end up doing harm so make sure you use less than 1oz per gallon of gas. My car has a 16 gallon tank. The idle is much smoother. The results were noticable after using up 1/4 tank of seafoam laced gas. DO NOT add seafoam to your oil or vacuum line method.

Seafoam is safe because right on the can it says you can suck it into your intake vacuum line to all cylinders to clean valves/ carbon deposits. It smokes like hell (as seen on youtube) but this is an INTENDED USE by seafoam, so if that is safe adding a little to your gas wont do any harm. Make sure to fill up with good gas like supreme chevron.

C230 Sport Coup + 2006 W164 ML350 + 99 Ford Escort (What the heck, it gets 38 mpg!)
I just got back from Kragen. Picked up the 2 for 10 sale.
I noticed they also had Chevron "Pro Gard" FI injector cleaner, seperate from the
fuel system cleaner.
It was only 5.99 normal price... hmmmm...

Both seem to make the same claims.

They also had Shell V-power treatment 2 for 8.

It said to put it in when the tank was empty.
Does it matter? I have about 12 gallons in the tank currently so I just
dumped it in.

I've never run it before. Nice to see if it makes a difference.

on my way to Kragen...
although I'm not having rough idle or start,
but I think anything to keep the injectors clean is worth $10

I believe the idea is to put the cleaner in and then fill up the tank so that the flowing of the gas into the tank mixes the cleaner in with the gas better.

This is exactly how I do it. I just picked up a bottle of that Techron crap and put in about 1oz per gallon. Didn't have any problems with the car, just did it for safe measures.

I always used to use this in all of my cars (usually all domestic). I would also be using it in the Benz except for all of the reading I've done on this forum regarding Techron. So I figured I would use the Techron for the Benz and the Lucas for all of my other vehicles.
