this is for the w203 c320 sedan with the 10 speaker bose system. all i need is to try to find a signal for my aftermarket sub and i want to splice into my stock sub, however i can't find the correct wire color.

umm where are u looking for the wire?
if u remove the rear deck, all the wires are right there ..locate back of speakers and u see the wires.. just do a tap there.. no need to track it to the middle or something..
u can do the rear spearkes or the woofer... it doesnt matter what u tap back there.

yes the rear speakers will work... and u only want to lows anyways ( not full range )
well u can do 2 things..
so either ur new AMP will process the sounds u want with the "cross-over feature" , or u need to get a converter..
but if i were u... i would just shave off the plastic and tap with the wire that u can plug into the amp.. and test out teh sub... if u like it leave it...
for the coupe its a purple wire and a purple with brown strip for the woofer ( im not sure about the sedan )
