Just Rollnnn.... evolution of another W203..

I got to the shop and they threw on the front rotors open up my front hawk ceramic pads and you guessed it, they were the wrong ones!!! part number was correct???? So yeah the only thing i could do was run to autozone and pick up the semi metallic duralasts.
ll keep in there for now. Threw on the rear rotors and luckily the Akebono ceramics were correct. Ill write a review in a couple weeks or so
Front

Rear:

I ordered Toyo Proxes T1R 235/35 front and 275/30 rear... i hope these things fit. Ill have them installed saturday morning...

remember to bed-in your brakes
60mph-10mph gradual braking 10times in a roll, don't let it completely stop before each time or the pads will burn/glaze onto the rotor. after ten times, let it cool down (drive around for 10min should cool it down to normal temp). and then do the whole thing again and you are set.
I don't know when I'll do brakes as a mod, but this is nice to know.
It'll be tough to find a good place to go 60-10mph Ten Times in a Row. Then repeating that without completely stopping in between.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Wow.
+1 again frank
Why?
You just made me think of the place I got my exhaust done.
It's an industrial area, and it's a fairly long stretch of road towards farm land.
(I'm in Davis, so there're plenty of farms around, hahahah)
Haha. You're good.
looking great roland, that startup screen is bad-to-the-mofawkin'-***!
the rears looks great too! i wonder if they make drilled rears for my stock brakes..

Brakes seem to be stopping fine..
Im hoping the 275's wont be too bad, i don't mind if i have to do some fender rolling, If it looks like it will be too much work, then ill trade them for the 265's

i'm sure someone makes drilled rotors for you. If i had to do it all over again, i think i would just got with R1concepts. It would've saved me a whole lot of time and money... I say this because there are not a lot of options for the 05 c230. Bad advertising and shops not knowing anything about our brakes waste a lot of that time and money... i talked to an EBC rep, a Brembo rep and a few retailers that didn't know ****... oh well. at least i know whats out there now...

yeah, i was really wanting to use the hawk ceramics. I didn't order another set, i figure i would just use the semi metallic for now. So far the dusting is pretty good, no dust in a week now. There is actually more dust from my akebono ceramics in the first week. But could be dust due to new rotors/pads so ill wash the car and see how it goes from there...

Toyo Proxes T1R
front: 235/35
Rear: 275/30
Front rubs the wheel well inner lining, when the wheels are turned sharp at slow speeds.
These are better than i thought, they don't rub nearly as much as i expected and i havent done any fender work since installing. They rub inner lining on big dips on the freeway. I gotta do some trimming and it should be fine.. but I gotta say, i'm glad i got the 275's instead of 265's..
