But anyways thanks for the comment, and btw my new system is louder than my old system-
you're both wrong- it's a function of air movement. i'm not a fan of any of the brands mentioned above, but why is RF above kicker? both sold out years ago and their stuff hasn't been the same since.in my opinion- they are on the same playing field. then again, that's just my opinion....and you know what they say about opinions

on a side note- did you upgrade anything up front or just subs?

Well when it comes to SQ and loudness I would go with RF. If your just looking for a competition car high end SPL that sounds nasty go with kicker. circle driver >square (L5-L7) any day when it comes to SQ. I also agree with you I didnt want to get to technical though. Thats the main reason I build my own enclosures ported because the enclosure is 75% of your system. The specs to this box are 5.5 cuft tuned to 34 hz.

Yes I also upgraded all 4 doors speakers to Pioneer premier comps, they sound 10x better than stock and I haven't amped them yet. I plan on taking it all out sooner or later to add an amp to the comps, a rear battery with some extra 1/0 and also the pioneer avic D3.

Something to contemplate: Note that car audio can achieve 150 dbA

Well with my past systems ive learned my lesson, been pulled over 4 times for the noise pollution and 2/4 i recieved 79 dollar tickets with no points. So now I definantly dont bump anywhere near residential areas lol.

Lol look up alma gates they ran kicker, and was the loudest car in the world at one point. Not saying its high end at all lol all the mexicans put in their ricers in my town, I would never ever touch the stuff tbh. Oh and RF has great stuff, look at the amps? They are all very efficient and they even make some great woofers. Not trying to hop on Steve meades d**k but he also runs RF lol.

You guys speak a foreign language Try English - even American English!!

By efficient I presume you mean run cool, draw minimal power for output - class d crap - Sounds like ****

Yea thats basically what I am stating and also that they actully do more than rated power, like the t2000bd for example, ive seen them do up to nearly 2500 watts at 1ohm even though they are rated at 2000.

The only thing that class d (frequently incorrectly termed "digital" amplifiers)amplifiers are any good for is powering sub woofers. Their sound sucks in the midrange & treble areas. Everyone is hoping for a breakthrough because they are compact and run cool - but at the present state of the art they suck big time.

My favourite high end brand - Audio Research, & what I use in my domestic system have built a class d multi-channel amp for home theatre due to market pressure. The thing sucks - sounds awful - don't know why they put their good name on it. It is completely blown out of the water by their entry level tube & solid state class a & class a/b amps.

Class d one day maybe - but at present it does not crack it.
