although you change the srings u wont notice that much of a difference in a BEMZ....my bro and fren changed the springs but ride is still soft....
but its different case in BMW>...the ride is harsh stock..and even harsher with springs

i have a 3-series sedan that is lowered with spring and the ride is quite harsh....and the spring is not cut
but i ride in my friend's w208 clk with springs that are CUT ....so i assume it should be much harsher .....try cutting your spring and u will notice that the ride will be harsh ..but it is not......its still smoother or the same as my sedan...
i dont know why...but i feel the clk is smooth...maybe different spring?
oh btw....BMW is known to hve a harsher ride than MB...
try comparing m3 to c32
or 330ci and c320
everyone can tell the bmw ride is harsher

I don't know too many people who got those ones. However, the people with the H&R set don't complain. Does it really toughen up the ride a lot? How much does the springs void the warranty?

But it's amazing how much better the car handles even with the stock shocks, just replacing springs and swaybars....
Total cost, less than $500.
I'd guess I can another year or 2 at least before I have to worry about shocks.

3 month wait for BRABUS steering wheel!?!
Well I've been bored waiting for our Euro pimp to get bixenons, so I decided to go buy a tan/burlwood Brabus steering wheel I've had my eyes on @ F1. Apparently they'll have to "special" order it though and it will take 2-3 months because they don't have the tan color . What I would like to know is, does anybody on the forum have a shop that can attain this wheel quicker?? Or is this like a normal wait time?? I put the order in anyways, but I would like the info so I can "rush" them. Thanks ahead for any feedback.

...you could have had an OEM MB (new) tan leather/wood steering wheel within 2 weeks...but it probably hasn't enough wood...

Did you call Brabus directly? Price is the same everywhere, so you don't have to worry about that.
They'd know if there's a wait time or not. I'd do that - I called one day, and had mine shipped same day. Of course, that was a std. charcoal version, so they might have more stock in that.

It is absolutey untrue that this delay is due to a "special order". That is a cover story. In reality, Brabus is doing a backround investigation on you to insure that you are worthy to purchase a Brabus item.
