For those of you who know, how's the ride quality with some 18"s? What kinda setup is it, just shocks and springs? It seems that it's a bit lower than the H&R cup kit.
TIA

It's not as hard as some carlsson setup but I think that a track oriented chassis won't fit a W203. The brabus suspension is a good choice for a well balanced comfort/sport ratio.

BRABUS Lowering Springs
Hey everyone, I got a question. I just purchased Brabus lowering springs. What is the difference between Brabus and H&R springs. Was it worth getting the Brabus lowering springs?

BRABUS Springs Only
Hello every one,
Don't kill me to start another forum on the lowering/suspesion topic. But this is ver specific.
Just talked to BRABUS, they have springs only (which are made by Eibach ) on special for $275/set. They claim it lowers the car by 1.5 inches. Asked them will it ruin the stock shocks and they claim NO. Questions:
1. Do BRABUS springs only really lower the car actually 1.5 inches?
2. Has anyone only changed their springs only? Your comments?
3. I think it for sure will ruin the stock shocks no matter what they say. But anyone has actually experienced this? How bad is it... what u need to do after this happens (i.e. get after market shocks or new stock shocks?)
Thanks in advance for feedback
Also before my conversation to them I was on the verge of ordering H&R cup kits; while worring about the ride comfort.

Thanks alot for your feedback...as far as not beleiving in Brabus...I was just trying to see if anyone actually had only springs and had experienced problems with the stock shocks.
And yes there is nothing here that can help me if there are people with Brabus springs only...and there experience and did the car actually drop 1.5 inches.
Thanks,

Ok- I am trying to help indirectly as well....
Currently I have the H&R springs only, for 5 months last fall I had Eibach's only. I have 31,500 miles on my car.
The stock shocks are still just fine, and I race my car. A lot. And they are still fine.
Just like Brabus C, I hope this helps...
