The BRABUS SLR steering wheel is the same than the SLK steering will and the "airbag part" is the same in the stock 2005 cars (the ones with facelift).

The the Question is: The new aribag with the "metal" butons are compatible with the cars before facelift (I read something about 4 and 3 pins)? The old airbag with the palstic butons are compatible with the new 3 spoke rings?

Best Regards.

Off topic:

whats with all the backgrounds in all those interior shots? lol

the 2004 SLK pic looks like the car is flying.
the bottem bic looks like its an off road vehicle
the second from the top looks like its in one hell of a scary forest.

that's the same thing I was thinking when I first saw this thread! the original SLR steering wheel isn't too pretty in my opinion...

Wow, these new MB interiors look so much different from like 2-3 years ago. So much more sportier now.

Is it me or does the slk's interior look more involved than the slr's and arguably better or just as good looking?

Anyone know if someone put the 2005 steering wheel with the new airbag with new metal butons in a up to 2004 sportcoupe?

Best Regards.

2005 230 Sport Sedan, Brilliant Silver, 6 Spd, Heated Seats, Sunroof, CDC, Flat Emblem, Clear Sides,
The SLR stering wheel looks just like the BMW M series wheel i.e. similar shape and uses the suede inserts...

You would think it would look more like the F1 steering wheels,
a bit more carbon fiber perhaps, and just a little more technical (telemetry settings perhaps) yet racy in nature. With paddle shifters, and other one touch controls, that during high-speed, you wouldn't dare take your hands off the wheel.

I can never understand the aesthetics of the 2004+ C Class shifter knob design either - I much prefer the one I have (pistol-like grip handle).

Does this BRABUS Kompressor belong to anyone? Rockaway/Wharton NJ Area Spotting

Sorry for the crappy pics, taken with my T-Mobile Sidekick2 in the pouring rain while waiting for my girlfriend to buy her shoes... Looked sick, love the drop and wheels, had Hot Import Nights decals and DUB decals...

Saw this in the DSW Shoe Warehouse near the new Walmart and Bed Bath and Beyond at Rockaway Townsquare Mall, if you see this, your car is hot to death and wanted to see if you'd be down for some local BMW/MB car meets!

I think even with the sunroof popped up like that, very little water will get inside the car, unless the rain is VERY heavy and the wind is blowing it sideways.

BRABUS Shift Knob Light problems

Anyone's Brabus shift knob light blew out? Mine did, and I just contacted Brabus to see if they can replace it. Anyone have this problem and fixed it themselves? Wondering if you can change the color of the bulb. Thanks for any feedback or help.
