---BRABUS W203/CL203 Thread---
The illuminated shift knob is not available for automatic C-class. I've called Brabus NA several times since Feb and they said they will have it soon. But the last time I called (in June), I was told that they will not be receiving the shift knobs from Germany ever again. The only ones that they have in stock is the stick shift.
i talked to someone there a few days ago and they said it was available. the guy i talked to also said lights up blue to match the door sills. has anyone seen one in blue, or is it new or something?
Well...I'll give him/you a benefit of doubt that the so called "blue" shift knob is the latest addition from the Brabus 2003 collection!!
If it did come in blue, I'll change it. And if he says its available, why havent you bought it?
And if he says its available, why havent you bought it?
p.s. i think the guys name was Paulo, or Pablo or something like that, he worked at Brabus, though
I have seen fake ones though that light up in a different colors...
Phattbamm: I got you AIM yesterday.. I took a look at the shiftknob and it is for a manual trans... damn.. I have to return it...

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
and my insurance company gave me a cheque.
but what i want to do is use that cheque and buy a aftermarket kit instead of the stock one they want to replace me with
i talked to my adjuster he says i can't do that and i have to get the stock bumper i am going to ask him again and this time i'll tell him if he lets me i will take off $100 to $200 outta my own pocket to do the upgrade. hopefully he'll let me
the kit i want to get is a brabus replica kit. I heard
its a decent kit. and was quoted $600 U.S shipped
what u guyz think cuz i already know one person who only paid $300 U.S. is there a big quality differnce u think or is he just ripping me off...?
thanks
i said id knock off $200 thats what convinced him ^_^
only problem is that i need to get a receipt since i have to get the kit from a reputable store...hmmm....any ideas?
And I can tell you 9 out of 10 times replica body kits (front and rear bumpers, thats what I define "KIT") DO NOT fit. You will end up spending the same amount of money that you've saved from buying replica kits on modifications in order to "make" them fit!!!
Good luck!!

so yah does any one have any links or adresses to stores that carry replica body kits?
the catalog says 1250 per wheel is that correct?tas ridiculous...
i like the rims so muhc the 2-piece one....but is it true it costs that muihc?
can someone tell me the market price
thanks.....and also the 1-piece one

Your entire assertion could certiainly be refuted - as it could easily be argued that if its overpriced, you wouldn't be buying it. Have you bought any aftermarket mb 'stuff' at all ? Like I said, each person has their own threshold, but to make broad general sweeping strokes such as 'all' in the classification of prices would not be accurate or reflective.
Ed
They should be cheaper now
Also look at the specials @ www.wheelexperts.com I saw them for $4,449.00 with tires. I think that is what the price was around.
Good luck
uh yes.
and calm down bud i was just joking obviously to some peoples paying 7 grand for wheels is not a problem.
but then again if u think about it is over priced...why is it?
well the answer is obvious its 'BRABUS'
its just like 'VERSACE' shirt with a symbol on it is worth 100 times more then what it takes to manufacture it. im not saying its not worth it-- hell why u think i have a "mercedes benz"? but lets not kid ourselves.. affordable maybe...over priced-yes!
maybe not to you u rich guy you but to the average man its alot
and considered over priced.
plus look at the brabus version of the c240 the thing cost way more then the AMG and has less horsepower not to mention the depreciation once you buy it.
