i talked to someone there a few days ago and they said it was available. the guy i talked to also said lights up blue to match the door sills. has anyone seen one in blue, or is it new or something?

What is that guy's name? He has no idea what he's talking about and he's giving you a whole bunch of BS. I bought the shift knob already!!!....Directly from Germany through a friend of mine. And the shift knob lights up in YELLOW, NOT BLUE!!!! It is not as "neon yellow" as you can see on the Brabus site, it is the same yellow from your instrument display. So its a little bit "orangy".
Well...I'll give him/you a benefit of doubt that the so called "blue" shift knob is the latest addition from the Brabus 2003 collection!!
If it did come in blue, I'll change it. And if he says its available, why havent you bought it?

i have the outside of my car all done with Carlsson and i was going to get Brabus interior done, but now im not so sure. i really like the Renntech stuff too. i still have to look a little more before i make a decision.

p.s. i think the guys name was Paulo, or Pablo or something like that, he worked at Brabus, though

I have seen fake ones though that light up in a different colors...

Phattbamm: I got you AIM yesterday.. I took a look at the shiftknob and it is for a manual trans... damn.. I have to return it...

did anyone have BRABUS rear apron on the C Coupe?

For the rear apron for CL 203, since it has a cut out opening for the Brabus sport exhaust, if I am going to order the rear apron without the exhaust, will there be a big hole on the left. Is MB muffler big enough to stick out in the cut out area and will it looks good?

As a matter of fact, I jsut saw a 744 cl230 w/ the Brabus front lip and rear apron on the road today! I was following it for a good 15 mins, and noticed exactly what you are talkng about. It didnt' have the Brabus sport exahust, but still had the OE exhaust. IMO it looked pretty good, nice and subtle, and becoz the OE is already chromed it bonded pretty well; although ideally the Brabus exhaust would be perfect, you could probably get away jsut using the OE!!

replica BRABUS kit?

ok i am going to get my car fixed since i got rear ended
and my insurance company gave me a cheque.

but what i want to do is use that cheque and buy a aftermarket kit instead of the stock one they want to replace me with

i talked to my adjuster he says i can't do that and i have to get the stock bumper i am going to ask him again and this time i'll tell him if he lets me i will take off $100 to $200 outta my own pocket to do the upgrade. hopefully he'll let me

the kit i want to get is a brabus replica kit. I heard
its a decent kit. and was quoted $600 U.S shipped
what u guyz think cuz i already know one person who only paid $300 U.S. is there a big quality differnce u think or is he just ripping me off...?

thanks

Brabus does not have a "replica KIT" for the C-coupe (IF you define KIT as front and rear bumper). It has only the front and rear bumper LIPS for the C-coupe. How can you use the check to buy an aftermarket KIT instead of stock because you have to use the money to replace the bumper first, then add the Brabus lip.

And I can tell you 9 out of 10 times replica body kits (front and rear bumpers, thats what I define "KIT") DO NOT fit. You will end up spending the same amount of money that you've saved from buying replica kits on modifications in order to "make" them fit!!!

Good luck!!

from what ive seen on this site the brabus kits are a decent fit and are pretty good...just that everyone reccomends buying the real for obvious reasons..but i guess u know why 'm looking for the fake-for obvious reasons ($)

so yah does any one have any links or adresses to stores that carry replica body kits?

It's only overpriced if it isn't selling to their satisfaction. It's a simple market pricing phenomenon that the price will reflect what the demand for the product is. It may be 'overpriced' relative to ones own ability to pay, or ones desire to pay - but categorically announcing something is overpriced doesn't reflect the true situation. .. .

uh, no. . . I don't think so. So its obviously not overpriced for certain individuals. . . If you think so, you can certainly explore other 'lesser priced' options. . .

Your entire assertion could certiainly be refuted - as it could easily be argued that if its overpriced, you wouldn't be buying it. Have you bought any aftermarket mb 'stuff' at all ? Like I said, each person has their own threshold, but to make broad general sweeping strokes such as 'all' in the classification of prices would not be accurate or reflective.

I have brabus monoblock VI's 19/8.5 fa 19/9.5 ra. I paid $5,200 with it shipped when they first came out. including the tires (dunlop sp 9000) mounted and balanced. from www.precisioninstallations.com

They should be cheaper now

Also look at the specials @ www.wheelexperts.com I saw them for $4,449.00 with tires. I think that is what the price was around.

Good luck

ebay

uh yes.

and calm down bud i was just joking obviously to some peoples paying 7 grand for wheels is not a problem.

but then again if u think about it is over priced...why is it?
well the answer is obvious its 'BRABUS'
its just like 'VERSACE' shirt with a symbol on it is worth 100 times more then what it takes to manufacture it. im not saying its not worth it-- hell why u think i have a "mercedes benz"? but lets not kid ourselves.. affordable maybe...over priced-yes!
maybe not to you u rich guy you but to the average man its alot
and considered over priced.

plus look at the brabus version of the c240 the thing cost way more then the AMG and has less horsepower not to mention the depreciation once you buy it.
