How do you keep the phone from turning off if you leave it in the cradle after leaving your car. Mine seems to turn on and off within seconds of turning the car on and off. I would like it to stay on after turning the car off, especially if I'm just stopping over somewhere briefly before returning to the car.

Mine has a setting in the phone to tell it when to turn off.

Other Settings
Car Settings
Power-off Delay (mine is set to 60min)
I'm not positive that is associated with the MB kit I just think so.

The MB kit ignores the phone's internal settings, I asked my service advisor within weeks of when I first got my car. It's irritating, because my friends often dont leave voicemails, they just assume that I'll call back because their name will show up on the missed calls list. So if I forget my phone in the car before going into the office my phone turns off immediately and I miss those calls.

This is exactly my frustration!! Why can't they get stuff like this right?
Another annoying thing is that pauses in my stored numbers are not recognized by the car, unless I use the shortcut dialing feature (e.g., holding down the "3" button on the dashboard dialing pad to dial memory location 3 in the handset). When I call up a name/number via my phonebook in the car, only the first ten digits are dialed--the pauses and remaining numbers are ignored. ?? And, of course, you can't voice dial a number with pauses using the voice activation system.

I just took delivery of my C240 4Matic and I'm in love with the car and the V60 (non-voice activated) phone. While we're on the subject, does anyone know if it is possible to get a reminder audible or visual alert that you have voicemessages?
Cheers.
