C320 Coupe letdown

2002 C230 coupe
I believe the $27,300 price quoted for the C320 coupe does not include the destination charge which is now at $720. If this is so, the price difference is $2,350. Please, correct me if I'm wrong.

there like a $5.3k difference between the C240 and C320 sedans. with that you are getting more standard features like digital climate control, etc. with the $1.63k increase between the C230K and C320 Coupes you are getting an engine. Had MB jacked the price up $5.3k and included all those features, there would be people here posting complaints about that. cant please everyone. just my $.02!!

the W208 CLK320 only has one air intake duct from the front right side of the car.
I've driven my brother's friend's 99 C230k sedan sport and very often I'm driving my sister's 00 CLK320 instead of my own gas guzzler. I found that the 2.3 s/c i-4 feels torquier than the 3.2 V6 at some point on the freeway. the i-4 has high end torque instead of low end on the 3.2. Maybe it's because the difference in weight of the two cars and the difference in gear ratio. I found that the 99 C230k sport is definitely a better performer than the 00 CLK320.

You know, I think ur right about the older c230's. I had one as a loaner car once in place of the clk, and seriously felt alot toruqier than the clk.
My c coupe doesnt seem to have this level of performance? I have 3500 miles, i would figure its broken in.. Maybe a diff rear end ratio? The trans sucks on my car, thats probably not helping.

Maybe my car has some problems.
I dont seem to be getting any fuel mielage above 15 mpg in the city lol.
I do accelerate hard sometimes, but for the most part its just stop and go. Today I averaged 13.2 mpg for 27 miles
Durning warmups its like 8.9. Im not even joking, maybe there is something wrong with my car that is making me wonder about my performance. Its never gone for any serviceces yet, service a is due in 6500 miles, but the oil smells like crap and it burned some, i think i should change it sooner?
