anyone did this before? I searched the thread but can't find anything...i'm actually thinking about doing the front clk/ c55 front conversion...just wondering what things need to be replaced besides the obvious (front bumper, hood, headlights, and fenders) anything internally?

 

I think part of the body frame looks different. I'm not sure...but I can tell you, when I installed HIDs on my C320, or played around with the bulbs, etc, I had so much space to move around, and once I popped open the C55, its a pain in the *** to change the bulbs.

to do the conversion correctly, you will need

fenders, hood, grill, bumper, reinforcement behind bumper, headlights, foglights, bumper reinforcement, foglamp grills, center grill, chrome accents on bumper, hood release cable, adapter brackets in front, headlight surround frames, front center radiator support, power steering cooler, condenser, radiator, radiator hoses, a/c hoses, frame rail extensions, wheel liners, radiator shroud. I may have missed a few items.

 

You now have an E55 engine in a C320?
I thought you went to the Kleeman kit...
never aware you stuffed an E55 motor in there.
Are we talking the Kompressor 5.5L ?

WOW that's way too much stuff to buy for a full conversion, just save up and trade in for one,

Props to Sunilp for doing it though, you must have the most patience in the world.
