shouldn't be much different than a c55 the added weight isn't that much. I can't give specifics about that c55tt as the individual and company doing it asked me not to but I just got back into contact wih him and he's more wild (neat) stuff regarding the power settings e.g. different power settings by key ala slr
I'll ask him if he wants to get into this discussion by giving him the thread link.

Not me. Just to give you an idea of how crazy this guy is.. here is a small exerpt that was published so it's ok to post-
I have a custom C55 currently on order that should arrive sometime in December, it required an entirely different rear and front fender area (wid-body custom made of sheet metal etcâ¦) in order to fit 255/30 R19â in the front and 315/25 R19â rear. I believe this version is 5.5 inches wider in the back than a typical C-Class and the front is 4.5 inches wider than a typical CLK (C55 has the CLK front).

just do a set of headers I am told that the difference in weight makes up for the sc's weight
Was the front end taken from a 55? If not then stiffer springs and shocks are needed. Just slap on some pss9's for a c55

Just wanted to update the thread and let you know that Project X55 is coming along nicely.
The engine is now in the car!!!!!! Next step is to connect up all the electronics and then onto trying to get this beast started!!
Here are a few pics of the incoming engine.

20+ to list......
Your chasis will be twisted coming off the line, so much torque. ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
This is actually very unique to see and I will be following up the thread. At some point of last year, I did think about putting in an 65 AMG motor and tranny into my wife's W203 C230 before it was traded in. If it were mine and I'm single, the C230 would be in the shop as we speak.
