Re-wiring Seat Modules - Can you use the heated seat wiring for relay?
I looked under the seat and there are plenty of wires under there, presumably one set is the heated seat module. Can I use that wiring instead of the cigarette lighter to power the seat module? Which module is the heated seat? Any help much appreciated.

on my wiring mod, i just used the cig lighter as the trigger originally. Then later i just used a aux 12v source hooked up to a switch to close the circuit. So the seat control module will only work when i turn on the switch.
The module continued to be powered by the original oem source. I tried using a direct 12V source but it wouldn't work.
Only when i used power from the original wires, it work. Just click on my sig to look at the seat module mod.

How do you access the cig lighter wiring? Did you take apart the console?
