2003 C240 & 2005 BMW 330Ci ZHP 6MT
Negative on both.
If you're looking for a good all-season tire then pick up the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires. I have them on my C240 and they are great.

I am currently running Kumho Ecsta ASX's on my C230K. They are an ok tire for the price. Not noisy, not terribly grippy but good enough for normal street driving. They aren't bad in the rain (i haven't hydroplaned with them). They are a comfortable tire but I have noticed that under extreme braking (at the limit of traction) they are very loud. Not that this situation occurs very often (ha) but I don't mind a little bit of noise in a situation where they could save you from a crash.

i just ordered tires and researched for a couple weeks. my front size are same as yours, but my rears are different... i ended up with:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....AN+S.4.#Survey
and was very tempted to go with michelin pilot sport a/s plus, but found these yoko's for cheaper AND the dry/wet performance is much better... they fit my needs because i wasn't that concerned with ice and deep snow since i have an ML for the winter.

New tires needed..
Well, I've decided on ZE 912. Very satisfied with these tires. Great traction on wet roads ( it's raining right now here). Very quiet ride, make sure the air pressure is correct, it makes a big difference on the performance. Well see how long they will last...but you can bet the price. Thank you all for your input...

There is an article on Car and Driver couple months back where they compare a lot of tires. The result is that the most expensive one is not the best. Kumho and Hankook are pretty good.

My C280 came with new Kuhmo's. I immediately replaced them with Michelin's. Kuhmo's are cheap, noisy, wear badly and just an all around lousy tire. IMHO you should NEVER skimp on brakes and tires.

I don't do AS, don't need it.
I went full circle, from expensive (Mich Ps2's nice..) to cheap, to expensive
(Bridgestone RE050 PP's) to cheap, and now am back to running
Fuzion ZR1's....again after trying a whole bunch of other tires.
They're good in the rain, last longer than other tires I've had, grip well, aren't tooo noisey, very reasonably priced, and made in Japan by Bridgestone.
I've never tried Khumo's or Hankooks, nor will I.
