just installed r1concepts brakes

just did my front and rear rotors and posiquiet pads and im happy with it. found my front driver side tire cracked half of the tire. brakes feel the same as stock with less dust.got the brakes from paypaboi gave me a good deal on the brakes, also just installed my toyos proxy 4 and did service b. But decided to run on stock wheels never really driven the car stock cause lowered and put on the wheels when the car only had 48 miles. Now car is running smooth no vibrations in front wheels.

I've got to do all my rotors and my front pads, too. Are the R1's better or cheaper than OEM? I definitely want to go ceramic on the pads. Did R1 have a package deal?

In my opinion I think R1's were better than OEM. I've had them for ~10,000 miles now probably. R1 has package deals but I don't really like their brake pads that come with the rotors. I think they're just Axxis pads. If "Paypaboi" really can offer a discount, it's a steal. Wish I knew we had a hookup here earlier when I did brakes on my car and my father's car.

What in the world caused your tire to come apart like that?? Were they properly inflated? Foreign object?

Anyone who has installed the R1 rotors also running Morse Friction Master ceramic pads with them? Other than Akebonos, I think those are the only ceramics I've seen for the '05+ sport brakes.

WOW, that tire looks bad! I don't think I ever saw a tire do that before, and I've been around a lot of tires. My goodness, you're just lucky you didn't do any high speed runs with that on there, and if you did, you got away with what could have been a catastrophic blowout.

That sounds like a good deal to me. Does R1 have ceramic pads for the front of an 05+ sport sedan? When I enter my car on the website, the only two pads that are shown are the Axxis Ultimate and the Posiquiet...but only for the rear.

I had a tire that looked kinda like that. I was on a highway, felt that I might have a flat on the rear, and by the time I could find a decent place to pull over, the edge of the wheel had just torn the hell out of the sidewall. Almost cut it in half like that picture.

I know they have front and rear for the PosiQuiet because that is what maecclass got but if you are serious about purchasing them feel free to pm me exactly what you want and I can give them a call. Remember though that they are doing this as a favor for me so I don't want to call them if it isn't a serious order inquiry. Not at all saying you aren't serious just letting you know it isn't my company and I don't work for them just simply a friend.

Wish i wouldve saw this post first cause i bought it full price....oh the only thing i noticed is that the eline rear rotors are alot smaller then the oem rotors.. dont know if that will effect anything

C230 Sport Coup + 2006 W164 ML350 + 99 Ford Escort (What the heck, it gets 38 mpg!)
Ooooo
I want drilled and slotted rears! Those look nice.
What year and model is your car? Do the rears have a PN on them?
If I order I don't want to go back and forth with wrong parts.

Are those the Eline or the premiums?

that's 100% incorrect. you can run drilled, slotted, or drilled&slotted on front AND/OR rear any way you want.
