OK, here's my wagon with the H&R Cupkit and Sport Sedan 17" wheels. The springs lowered the front about 1-1/2" and the rear about 1-3/8". To me it looks like the rear is sitting too low. What do you guys think?
I'm thinking I might go back to the stock rear springs and then install the thinnest pad (currently has the thickest). I also might experiment with the different lower shock mounts (Greg - you know what I mean). I don't really want to mismatch components, but I don't really have a choice. Unless, anyone has any other ideas of raising the rear with Cupkit.

Wagon looks great BTW. I think those wheels look killer on the wagons.
I see what you mean on the rear. It does sit a bit low compared to front. So, that is the thickest pads in the rear..the 4's-IIII? If, not, i know that's what came with my wagon and i will swap you if you need them. I was just under my wagon a few days ago and forgot to look at the rear lower shock mounts...dang it.
Anyhow, looks good and i bet handles a lot better now. Greg

Yep, I'm already on #4 pads. Do you know how much each of the different pads will lower? Usually it is not a direct correlation (ie 5mm thinner pad doesn't always mean 5mm lower ride height). I guess I will try different pads and also the different lower mount.

they are indeed different...
A 2103250184 is 5mm thick
0284 measures 9 mm
0384 measures 13 mm
0484 measures 17 mm
so the difference between is always 4 mm
grtz

Yeah, I've got 0484 (the thickest pads). But how much of a drop would I get by going with let's say the 13 mm (0384) pads? I know it has to be more than 4 mm due to the geometry.

Handling is definitely improved but not to the extent I was hoping for. I'll probably go back to the stock rear springs with a thinner pad, but not sure if I'm going to go back to the stock rear shocks or keep the H&R shocks. I'm not real keen on mismatching the parts, but honestly, I think the H&R are slightly more damped, but not a lot.
BTW Lepez...nice car, want to trade?

OK, alls done. The front has been lowered 1-1/2" and the back just over 1/2". I've got the sport sedan wheels on off of an '05 and just put new rubber on the back (255/40-17). Handles much better and the ride is much firmer. This is still the wife's car otherwise the windows would be tinted, quad tip exhaust, and I'd upgrade the stereo.
First pic is stock for reference.

YES !!! Henry, that looks great. Sits nicely. After much trial and tribulation, i think you have it dialed in. You can probably swap springs/shocks in your sleep now
Congrats, look good.

It's been 8 months since acquiring the wagon.....
...I think we've settled into a nice routine with what is now called the Panzer.

I see that my old C270CDI wagon has been mentioned before...here are some more pictures - 2001 C270CDI station in designo silver, designo twotoned interior, cinamora designo wood and a couple of other nice (basic-need) features
unfortunately the car got totaled by my wife but at least she came out without a single injury and that is what matters most

Cheers, Greg.

Thought I would share some more wagon pics.... even though the car is DIRTY ! Anyhow, I went for the "Stormtrooper" look on my wagon and had my TSW "Crofts" powdercoated a semigloss black. Also finally installed some clear headlights..halogen ... Also bought some clear fogs from Gary/advans that i hope to install soon. Cheers, Greg
