80K miles Maintainance..please help
Hi,
I have a friend who has W203 C230Sedan and going to hit 80,000miles in a couple days. He would like to know what he need to check and replace. Any idea of how much he needs to pay for dealer to do 80,000 miles maintain?
Please help. Thanks a lot

im curious too...i just hit 80K I have only done oil changes and oil filters thus far... at about 70K I did a service B through Mercedes But thats before I had experience with the car. Now I can do everything myself. Just don't know exactly what to do...My car is asking for another service B in about 900miles.

Fuel filter and sparkplugs. Check for the cam sensor leak and install the wire extensions if that hasn't been done (explanatory thread is in the stickies). Wouldn't hurt to clean the MAF either (there is also a thread or three on that).

I would have the tranny serviced (actually at the 50k mark would have been ideal).I f the $tealership says it doesn't need servicing until 10k , I would take the vehicle to someone else - preferably a indie.

Thanks for all helpful info...
My friend is going to have tranny fluid changed and Sparks too.
He has had cam sensor replaced last time when he was in service in Penske.
Anything else needs to take care?
He would like to keep this car for another 50K miles at least. Thanks everyone!

didn't you already ask this question and get responses a month ago but for your "brother's" car?

Here's what I'm gonna do...since I just turned 80,000 this week. I'm gonna reset that bizmo service reminder back to 10,000 and forget about it. I've replaced just about every part in the car so far...what else could need servicing?
I love it because it's black and it looks sick in the Summer when it's all polished up purty and shiny.
