Quick update:

Stayed up all night waiting to call the PD, when lo and behold, I get a call at 6:47 in the morning. The Property Clerk was suprised I was awake and outside, and he scheduled an appointment for me to identify my wheels again. Well, smoked a few cigarettes and pretty soon it was 7:31, and I got in, identified the wheels, and got them back. Now they're sitting in my car (LOL, I know, I know), waiting for Albert at TWS to open so I can get them straight mounted on on my way back to school. Although there are some damages to the face of one of my wheels, I'm happy!

LOL, at this point either of them can take the cake!
Lol, I realized I have class late on Mondays.. Like 4pm late. I'm good for now, just don't hope I fall asleep once I get back to Riverside, hahaha.
I know right! Why did I even ask ? haah
The idiot is outta jail for now. Phil, since I know you're in the Legal/Justice departments, can you tell me what restitutions are? I received a letter last week about going to court and presenting receipts/bills for restitution. From my understanding, restitutions are only for extra charges right? Because honestly, I'm fine now and I don't want to go through the hassle of going to court and stuff. LMK.

Restitution is any amount of money needed to make you whole again. Say, he broke your window and you had to get it fixed or he scratched your car, etc. If you had to do any of that, you would present receipts and bills.

But, that's assuming he has the money. If the guy is indigent and doesn't have a dime to his name, good luck collecting.

If you're fine and don't want to go through the hassle, then I would say just forgo it. But, think about it some more. Also, think about pressing criminal charges on this guy. You could have a civil complaint, but it's not worth the hassle since you got your wheels back.

Good to hear the news and I can't wait to see the full set of wheels on your car.

Yo mugen - I've been following your C for a while and I like it man. Clean, mad props. I especially like the yellow fogs and inners. I'm running yellow highbeams in my innerrs and looking for a decent yellow 194 wedgebulb to run in there...PIAAs are wack IMO, for a yellow bulb they look amber. But yeah man - sick ride F--K the haters.

Guys, no pics of the wheels yet, will have them mounted on Fri because I don't have the hubrings [ordered at TWS].

Will also have the C32 front calipers mounted with new rotors. Stay tuned!

Nelson: I've been looking for yellow 194's too. Surprisingly, I haven't seen any at ALL! They are all amber! Right now i'm trying to look for yellow LED's but damn nothing's coming up, not even yellow incandescents!

and about the yellow bulb sitch, yeah, PIAAs are weak, I saw Raybrig makes some and some other companies too, but I'm stuck on stupid because I went the "error free" LEDs and they threw error codes, Polarg superwhites look weak against the 8ks...I'm sick of throwing away cash, but I want it to be right, but back to you thread...right on, glad to hear you got your wheels back man, Te's are a good wheel - super light and look good on your C. Lol yeah. Seems I'll never get the JDM look going on! I was actually contemplating on using Lamin-x film in yellow, but it wouldn't look right because my headlights aren't seperated. You could do that though!

Cool...yeah, I thought about the film too, or just roll w/ the yellow highbeams on - but that only works w/ headlights clicked on...was also thinking rig the fogs into the inner lamp and just roll with the running lights clicked and 3k foggs on. Just a PITA if you ask me...the clear lamp looks good w/ the yellow bulb reflection off the back of the housing. Damn man can't wait to see the C on Te's again. Sorry to hear what happened - shiiiesty individuals man. Cool you got the wheels back though

I think he is F-ed right? As far as I know if you have a criminal record especially if the rims are expensive he might have it on his record right?

I know if you are caught with Marijuana and found guilty you might not be eligible for Financial Aid so i'm guessing this guy is done huh?

Savages stole two of his wheels - thus the mixmatch...but my understanding is that the stolen wheels have been recovered.
