daily drivers cant do that, so basically the M3 will be slightly better on corners, and the C63 much much better on steets...

Top Gear RULES !!! I too was surprised about the Zonda beating out the Bugatti in their tests.

So...anyone want a VW Polo Diesel, after watching the episode where they had to drive from Switzerland to Blackpool with 1 tank of gas? Or would you prefer the Jag?

well, I bought both cars at the same time, I raced the ML with the stock coupe too.

I know what I'm talking about, with my intake/exhaust/pulley/chipping it OBVIOUSLY was faster.

but I'm 100% sure he can take the ML from start up until 70/80 then the ML will pull away

230K 0-60 7.5
320 0-60 7.3

That's pretty weak for the 320 now I see why people get the 230K instead. With a pulley upgrade it'll for sure pull away from the 320.
Just FYI, the numbers listed above for the 230k are for the coupe, not the sedan. A c320 sedan versus a c230 sedan would favor the 320 any day.

Negative.

Stop talking about it and race already.

I know!
I was wondering if maybe they set it to go to zero with there still being some fuel in the tank, just in case a situation occurs exactly like the one they were in?
You won't see me testing that in my truck though, although ive run the fuel mile range to about 10 miles once

This is an interesting arguement. Only one way to find out. Tape it.

Yeah, I thought the same thing too. With his driving style, having all the accessories on, and the limited range right from the start, I never would have thought the Jag would have made it. But I can vouch that most manufacturers do allow a significant amount of fuel to be in a tank even though the needle and/or computer is reading zero. Most recently, while driving my wife's Subaru Forester (1998), the tank was way less than 1/8 full with the low fuel light on for quite some time, and I was in Worcester, MA. From there, I hit the Mass Pike East to make a stop in downtown Boston (about 25+ miles), then hit Logan Airport (another 6 or 7 miles), then headed south to Norwood, MA where I usually fill up (RoJo's gas station), which was another 18 or so miles (all mileages are estimates, as this was a few months back).

Suffice to say that I was really sweating bullets and driving like an already-partially cracked egg was between my foot and the gas pedal. Not only because of the fuel issue, but also that it was waaaay late at night and extremely cold, conditions which wouldn't have lent itself to being favorable to have to walk XXX miles to fetch some gas. But I did make it. I filled up the tank completely, and MAN was it low. I'd have to go back thru my receipts to see how much it actually filled the tank versus how much the tank holds according to the owner's manual. But that was a nail biter. Not sure if I'll do that again anytime, unless I have a container with a couple of gallons in the back.

Results are in:

One pull from 40mph, we weren't exactly mirror to mirror, I was a little bit back...maybe like 1/4 length. At around 70 mph, I get mirror to mirror. 100mph, I start pulling away. 120mph, I'm ahead 1.5 car lengths and I shut it down.

C320 Win!

Anyway anyone wanna make a bet? Why don't you guys put your money where your mouth is. 20 Bucks says the ML is going to lose.
It's easy to talk on a forum.

Hey kid, here is what you do. Just lower the PSI a little, turn off traction and go for it.

20 Bucks says the kid is going to win the ML.

Payment will be sent via PayPal.

Anyone up for the bet?????
I knew you would have won. Too bad no one wanted to make a friendly bet with me.

Good Job man.
