Do any of you have a pic of the C 230 K at night from the front showing its headlights. If so please post. I havn't seen one at night yet and want to know what my headlights will look like? They are certainly beautiful during the day!

this is the best i can do...
i didn't mess w/ the settings on my camera to get this. the camera tends to wash everything else out b/c the lights are too bright. this is w/ the standard lamps.

young, you can turn on the fog lights in either the parking light position or the on position. Pull the switch out one detent for the front fogs, and all the way out for the rear fog light.
The parking lights (city lights) and the fogs look really cool at twilight. Not legal in most, if not all, of the US, though. MB-BOB said this was cool, so it must be.

What I recall of Driver's Ed in high school... the law requires parking lights (minimum) from 30-minutes before dusk, and 30-minutes before dawn. Low beams in addition were recommended, but not required. I would think that as long as you displayed parking lights, either low beams OR fogs would qualify as recommended supplemental lighting.
Of course, there simply were no "fog lights" when I was in HS, and I haven't been required to read a state driving reg book in decades, so I'm sure someone with more recent training will chime in. If your lights are programmed for "automatic" operation, I don't think you can run only parking/fogs. I think the same applies if programmed for DRLs (req'd in Canada). But I haven't played with them in either mode.

Drivers Ed
When I took driver's ed (Five years ago) I was told that I should only use parking lights when the car was actually parked. I believe I was also told that to do otherwise was illegal.
