New HID's
they match perfectly to my HIDs low beams

So I finally pulled the trigger and bought the 6000K 35W HID's from the site listed on the first post in this thread for my coupe and sure enough....no errors....just as the other people on this forum said.
However, I'm in Canada and as most of you know, we have to have running lights during the day. Before the HID's were installed, during the day my usual headlights would come on except I think it was at a lower power, so it wouldn't be as bright as during the night.
Now, with the HID's, they come on as usual at night, but during the day nothing turns on and I receive errors - Check low beam L & R.
To the other Canadians who've installed this HID kit on their cars, did you have the same problem? How did you fix it?
Thanks.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
i went to both, and one completely refused.... they do not touch aftermarket stuff since the hids are not oem
the other dealer charged me 75 bucks for like 15mins of work haha.....but i had no option, just paid it
the guy basically had no glue wth i was talking bout....so make sure you bring in the instructions.... i dont have time rite now, on the go....but if you search and cant find it still, lemme know. i'll locate it for ya
make sure you walk in to the service being firm.....cuz they can be intimidating lol...... just say if they have a service technician on hand for something that takes less than 30 mins. best to go early morning before the appointments.
so basically, if have a couple of dealers willing to do it for u, it shouldnt cost more than 40-50 bucks MAX

35W 6000K HID's...no error's whatsoever.
Only problem is that during the day...the running lights (Im in Canada) don't come on and throw an error...but thats because Xenon is not set to present.
I'm gonna get myself a pair too.
Word of advice... don't get the 55W bulbs...they will be too bright and cannot be used without blinding oncoming drivers/getting pulled over.

thats why i bought last week a pair of black depo projectors
that should solve the problem & update the look
BUT... Depo's bring a new problem. Depo headlights have a flaw in the design of the projector that ruins the light pattern. There are serious hot spots, and there is very little illumination to the sides. I bought Depo's with a 35Watt 6000K HID kit, but got rid of them after a week because of the poor lighting. It is worth spending $800-900 for a used OEM Bi-Xenon. See pictures below.

was wondering if its ok to use 35w bulbs with 55w ballasts?? Both my 55w foglight bulbs went out. I have extra 35w ones laying around, can i use those for now until i get some 55w bulbs?
ive searched and read, but get too many conflicting answers.
Thanks for your help.
I'm a noobie, but gotta ask: Once I get the HID kit for the low beam lights, is high beam a different set of blubs or how does that work with halogen housing?
Secondly, if the kit works on low beams, i plan on getting the kit for my fog lights. Will each fog light have its own ballast too?
It's my first post here, and gotta say, this post as been pretty helpful thus far. Legit stuff.
I wanted to purchase the HID's for my fog lights and wanted to know which one should I buy. They have (3) 35 watt kits. The top 2 are 12v kits and the last one is 24v.. They have updated the site recently and now have more choices and wanted to know if it was safe to go ahead with the Digital Slim ballast? Which model did you guys purchase for the headlights? The Std 35 watt 12v? Slim Digital 35 watt 12v? 24v Watt? Any response from members who purchased this product would be greatly appreciated as my car sits in the garage awaiting for the OEM bi-xenon ballast to arrive with the front bumper off..

Thanks guys!
I'm probably going with the slim digital 12v 35 Watt system. Like you said would probably make more sense with the slim profile esp. For the foglamps The link is on the first page of this thread dude.. It will portal you to the new
page..
Warranty is little better on the Digital slim... Might go with the Std as the members here had no issues with them Hella's... Don't want take that chance of shipping back the Panasonic's Digital Slims if they trip the computer..
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated...
