I have RGB connectors now as well...

I will be in SFr and LA during the last 2 weeks of april/first week of May after which I will be in Texas for a couple of days as well (either Houston, Austin or Dallas).

NY/NJ and possible other eastcoast areas are schedulled for week 3 and 4 in May...

where do i sign up and how do i send my deposit? id like a euro comand but will take a US spec as id never use the t.v. function, if there are no euro comands left!

my mbworld pm box is full indeed...I only replied those messages with "mail me at s_krabbenborg@hotmail.com" so I figured I rather keep it full...I can store mails but not pm's.

steve i put COMAND install in L.A. in the subject line in the email. i didnt read anywhere if there was supposed to be something specific. it you require it to be something else please let me know. you should have new mail otherwise! not sure if you want "mail me at s_krabbenborg@hotmail.com" in the subject line intead. sent you another email with that in the subject like as well.

anyone have problems with Euro COMANDs?

I am interested in the Euro Comands but from the posts on the MB website, it sounds like they are more likely to have problems. I read posts where people said such things as their picture would go out in the middle of driving or they would have very poor TV reception. Does anyone know if this is true? How common is this occurance?

TV reception on Car's are never as clear as you want them too no matter what type of system you have.

I have the Euro Comand along w/ the TV tuner and I'm very happy w/ it. On certain areas I'm able to watch my favorite news channel fairly clear.

Poor TV reception is NOT!!! a comand problem...it is a incar reception issue and no matter what system you have in your car, incar TV reception generally sucks.
I have a clarion TV tuner in my own car and that sucks as well...but that comes with the incar TV feature...

As far as the actual comand itself goes, both US and Euro comands mainly exist of the exact same parts with only a few minor differences...of which some can be taken care off by changing some software issues...

Hey i sent an email to Steve asking him to confirm he received my 200.00 deposit for my EURO command. Steve did confirm he had received my email stating he was going to be in the SF area on the 19 and 20, 21 of APRIL which is this weekend. STEVE is supposed to be in Texas soon too but he quoted the second week of May around the 7-10th but no confirmation from him on the exact date .
does anyone know what date he will come out to Texas? Steve should be in the states... I at least hope so by now.

"Steve" just arrived at SFO and has unpacked the first crate with parts...

I am in San Carlos and will be here for approx 6-9 days...depending on the workload.
I will most probably be 1 day in Seattle as well (within 1 week from now) and will go down to Huntington Beach after that where I will do the LA area comand installs.
My visit in texas will most probably not be much longer then 1 day since I only had 2 confirmed comands out of 6...

I did bring some additional 203 comands in case anyone changed his mind and wants one installed as well.

I also brought some 203 Bi Xenon sets (a few more sets then I actually "needed" ) and will only sell these sets to anyone who will come to pick the set up (bay area or LA area).

I will get in contact with those who already paid their deposit and mailed me their phonenumbers.

Euro COMAND Swap! HELP!!!!

Hi everyone, okay here's whats up.

I am one of the lucky people to attend the upcoming Comand install tour.

But, what I had originally planned was to swap a euro-comand with someone here in Los Angeles area or Orange County area. I had made an agreement with someone here on this board that I would get his Euro-comand from his car and that he would get a US spec Comand that Steve was bringing.

But, I just found out that he will now not be doing the swap with me, he is selling it to someone else. So now, here I am about a week from the install week, and no one to swap with. To make matters worse. I order a RGB unit from Steve too and, to my knowledge doesn't work with the US comand.

So is there anyone in the L.A or Orange County Area (CA) that has a W203 Euro-comand that would like to swap for a W203 US spec comand that comes with a 1 year warranty from Mercedes.

I am in a really tight bind here, If anyone can help, I'd really appericated.
