I got the Nav all set, the route is done and it's guiding me home.
Ok everything is cool.
I decide to turn on the radio, so I hit the AM/FM button and the screeen changes to radio screen, I tune my station, and then hit map to go back to my map screen.
Still everything is cool, I got my map screening going and the radio is playing
Here is the problem.
I want to turn the radio off, but don't want to kill the power to the comand unit. The only way I could figure out how to turn the radio (or CD for that matter) off was to either kill the power to the comand unit (which also kills my guidance) or turn the volume down all the way.
This is driving me nuts!!! How do I turn the radio off without powering the entire comand system off???
Thanks guys!
BTW: Steve did an awesome job on the install! Very nice guy!
just got mine done tonight at Erwin's as well (too bad you didn't hang out over there longer)...i also had the same question as you, i think the only way we can do it is to turn the volume all the way down, you still hear the voice because the default is +5 of whatever the volume is, of course you can adjust that to more or less if you want as well

I dropped him off at the hotel around 11PM and he was off the next day to Chicago (to see you all). The COMMAND is off the hook, something I've been missing since I bought the car in early April. I'm glad I have it now!
Thanks Steve!
