2005 C Wagon (No snickering please!)
Hi johnand,
I purchased mine in Berlin from the Alfred Teves agent 20 years ago. Below is from the current Teves catalog listing.
They list two suppliers in the USA at Cont/Teves: http://www.conti-online.com/generato...viders_us.html
Piston return device
Order no.:
03.9314-4950.3
760049
The ATE piston return device returns the pistons in the disk brake calipers. It avoids damage to the pistons and brake disks.
Benefits:
Parallel running ensures that the piston movement cannot cause damage and cannot jam.
Note:
Do not use tire levers / large screwdrivers!

Bringing it back from the dead!!
Does anyone know the torque specs needed for the rotors and caliper? Someone quoted above 82 ft/lbs but isnt that for the wheel lugs? Im just wondering what torque is needed for the rotors and the caliper carriers. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

That is not a C-clamp, that is a locking plier clamp. Used mostly by welders to clamp work pieces in place. It does not have a parallel jaw, it will cant the piston and lead to a leaky caliper.
Please watch the video below. This a fella who felt he knew more than the engineers, and felt a torque wrench "isn't necessary."![naughty](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/naughty.gif)
