which Comand MSC-II works for w203?
I'm thinking about doing this next and want to know my options...I've read the w463 (g-class) will work, and the clk looks like it'll work but I can't tell...anyone know?

Why don't you get a C-class MCS-II? You know that comand was an option for the W203, right? The CLK comand will work but it won't fit right. You'll have gaps on the left and right and it will look bad.

I've looked at finding a w203 version but the exact same one for the w463 is alot less expensive...plus it opens up my options and broadens the market!

If you can find a w463 comand for cheaper then thats the obvious choice, you'll get more functionality that way. Its just that they are much more rare. w203 comands are readily available.
Any other model will have problems with the faceplates not lining up. The w209 is the closest, but anything else is way off.

Many people here, including me have posted a lot of information.
In a nut shell...Try to get a unit that is the face lifted style for your face lifted car. You need it to be MOST based. I would go for a unit that is starting in w203 although ACR2001 has a successful w463 unit in his w203.
There seems to be no built date requirements, unlike the climate controller.

Many people here, including me have posted a lot of information.
