How do I tell if my Starmark C240/6 speed has sport package or not?

It has every option that was available on the year of manufacture as far as I can tell.

It will say sport on the side trim near the front wheel.

the front/rear bumpers and side skirts will look different and your interior trim will most likely be aluminum instead of wood.

also different bodykit than the regular C-class, and 16" 5-spoke rims.

Actually, no, they didn't have these badges on the old sport package. However, they do have them now on the new sport sedans.

Here's a pic of a 2001 C320 with the sports package. Maybe it will help as there's lots of detailed pics. Didn't know they didn't have Sport badges on the side back then.

Thanks

What are the main differences between sport package and standard sedans? Other than the wheels? Are the brakes different as well?

easiest way to tell if it has the sport pkg.....NO WOOD AT ALL !!!
(which IMO looks terrible without...except for the C32 which is fine with no wood)

the brakes are the same. The suspension setup is different. (spring, shock, etc.)

Interesting, tire rack shows two different brake setups for sport and non-sport package cars, I wonder if the rotors are directionally vented on one and not on the other one.

Isn't the aluminum trim in the sport package the exact same trim on the C32?

Here's a check list:

Do you have 5-spoke wheels?

Do you have aluminum trim in the cabin?

Are your door handles the same color as the rest of the car?

Some more subtle things.

Charcoal full leather

Blue tinted glass.

Car sits about one inch lower.

High performance tires.

If yes to all of these than you probably have a factory Sport package. You should be able to use the VIN to find out how the car was originally equipped.
